¡Que talento! Me gusta tu sonido tan puro y tu expresividad, hay un sentimiento profundo en ti que se palpa. Gracias por compartirlo Ioana. Un abrazo desde Argentina
This is most sublime. Your performance, certainly the allemande, was flawless. Quality recording. I've have listened repeatedly, ordered the music, Dresden #5, and hope to follow in your footsteps. It looks like you used Puijenbroeck transcription and capo 1st fret. It's a very good one.
Ioana, fabulous playing. I hope that some day you will consider taking up the Baroque lute. I for one would love to hear your interpretation of Weiss on a real lute. The barrier though is that there might not be any Braille tablature editions available.. Perhaps this can change though. Thanks for sharing your work.
I have a question that might have been asked by anyone. How do you memorize musical scores? Do you use any brailled ones? Or do you listen to musical pieces performed by anyone to remember each tone to reproduce them on your guitar? Do you use other ways? You introduced your own ways of practicing and playing your instrument, for example, in "Right hand tips for finger independence," etc. I would like you to show how you take steps before playing guitar works through your video, if possible. By the way, I did not like Weiss's pieces very much before I listened to your performance of them, such as "Dresden Sonata No. 5." It is kind of a wonder for me. Thank you for providing us good-videos.
Thanks for your questions and support on Buy Me A Coffee. I indeed use Braille. Often I ask someone to read me the music and I write it down in Braille to memorize afterward. Sometimes I also learn by ear. I did this for the Weiss sonatas I transcribed because I wanted to start from scratch referencing the lute, not other person's decisions. So I listened to a few versions to compare and find my own way. In other cases, I did not know of any transcriptions for guitar and loved the piece so did the same thing and learned directly from the lute. All the best!
@@ioanaguitar Thank you for your detailed reply, but I cannot still imagine how much effort you have made for score reading and delivering your performance confidently. Your peformance always makes me comfortable and serious while listing.
i play too. and I'm alright (lots of people say I'm good) i consider myself high intermediate skill level I'm getting there. but your miles away compared to me. much respect.
Gravação com sonoridade excelente. Clareza das notas dessa linda sonata de Weiss. Ioana precisa como sempre.

Wonderful rendition. Really gets inside the music and projects a pacing and timing of the original. Weiss would approve.
Thoughtful, contemplative, expressive, inquisitive - just wonderful. Many thanks, Ioana. - Athan

Ron Waldo Thanks, glad you like it. I made my own. To my knowledge, I don't know of any transcripffion with 6th string in D. All the best.
Ron Waldo i transcribed the allemande based on how she plays, check it out ua-cam.com/video/WGudG4dR4Kc/v-deo.html
