In this video, we are going to learn how to draw a Spring cartoon character using Procreate and we'll talk about key tips for drawing line art, quickly adding colors, shading, and building an overall good digital art workflow.
I'll show you some of my favorite Procreate tricks like using clipping masks, blending modes, the "reference" layer option, and alpha lock.
I hope these tips and tricks will help you create your own character!

Your last cartoon yourself video really helped me with a problem i didnt know i needed a solution for until i had problems making stickers. Your tip to change the line art colors to be a darker shade of the fill color, in sections with alpha lock, was such useful advice. So thank you!

I wish I had even a pinch of your talent. I loved watching every second of this video even though I am not an illustrator in any way. I may be brave and try to cartoon a picture of a sweet little boy who has found passion in baking, so I can make him some business cards and stickers for his baked goods.
