I thought it would be inspirational helpful for her to see how you care for your mom Mis Norma with dementia. My sister's been caring for my mother for 24 years and she is a great provider in all aspects. Reminds me so much of you. Always getting Mama something new making her feel good. Y'all are definitely a blessing for sure. I'm the youngest I do a lot of praying giving my ear and talking. Also if needed I always try to make myself available but because of some of my disabilities my sister's limit me in what they allow me to do. So I don't get mad at them but I sometimes feel like I'm not useful because I can't help in ways that I would like to. When I was working my profession was taken care of the brain injured. After taking care of others I can't even give my mother what I was able to get other parents and that's sometimes make me sad but then Jesus has me bounce back again in real life you can't do everything. It's still a blessing because we all are caregivers and know how to take care of one another so it's a beautiful thing when you have family that you know were raised right and you can depend on them. May God continue to keep you in good health, sound mind with patience and a lot of love. Y'all deserve it and at anytime you have a special prayer request I'm only an inbox away. In saying that I do keep you and your family lifted up in my daily devotions. Most people whom know that's my blessings to others special prayer request. She's a pretty woman!😊 I have had 2 close relatives who had Dementia. It's nothing to play with....just try to keep her smiling & keep on loving her!🤗 (...& be sure to keep a DAILY check on her if she's in a nursing facility!!👍)
It's amazing how this lady was once pampered by her mother. The same way she's doing her mother when she got older. It reversed itself. The tables turned it's remarkable how God has created. Such creatures on this Earth, who we are toddlers and taking care of but then, when they get older, we become their mother.
After she's done with foot massager just pass it to me. There was no doubt in mind that she's didn't know your husband. Crystal, she appreciates everything you and your family does for her. I was on a Caregive Coalition Zoom today. We talked about how patients are so appreciative even in rough moments.
