I cannot THANK YOU ENOUGH for this. Thank you sooooo much. I am emotional but I’m mainly emotional because I’m happy, I have released, I am so much lighter, I feel proud of myself, I’m allowing myself - and I can FEEL - everythig. I can FEEL. I thought this practice would make me cry. I’ve endured a lot of trauma in my life and for the first time (though there is much I still need to accomplish to feel in my head what is stable) - I’ve made strides. I went from homeless to living by a nice park in a nice neighbourhood by some nice patches of water. I feel so lucky to have my environment and a home as part of my healing. I say all this to say that I feel I now have space to heal and I thought I’d be crying from over 30 years of neglect from pre birth. When we were doing the groin opener legs behind at 90 degrees, i just started laughing and the word haha or breathing could only be HA - kept “coming out of my mouth”. In other words I couldn’t anticipate it at alll. It happened a few times and quite a lot and it felt so light and fun... I felt like a child being allowed to be a child. I needed to give that to myself and you helped me.. by the end I heard what I can only describe as a voice and “my higher - truest self” saying “it’s okay to be happy you know. I was safe. It’s okay to be happy!”. It was that simple... and I realised in those moments that I had repressed so much happiness and lightness... I wasn’t allowed to feel that lightness. I was always in survival and hyper vigilant parenting and regulating myself, my brother and my parents and parenting my parents energetically. This is all sounding crazy I’m sure... but it is for lack of better words.. what I do want to say is there is no need to feel any guilt around joy or hold on to it anymore. Or at all. Joy is joy. Joy should be felt - joy deserves to be felt and you deserve to feel joy. It’s that simple. You can be happy. You’re allowed to be shoot and feel the full spectrum of emotions. What an adventure. You get to feel. You don’t have to be marred by unhappiness and hardness just because you experienced so much of it. That is not the essence of your life.. there is joy too. In between. I feel so happy to release HAPPINESS. My hips have been right and I even had a back injury and have been feeling immensely tight in that whole area recently. I will keep coming back. I’m so ecstatic. I just wanna tell everybody! I’M HAPPY, it’s Okay to be Happy and I can FEEL!!!🥳😍☺️😁🙂🤣🤗

Such a deep strectch on my hips, felt the emotion and cried a little. Was a little emotional and it is a wonder appearing so sudden! There was a cramp at the right hamstring during the strectch. It's all good, thank you very much. Namaste ♥️🙏

Wow. EXCELLENT CLASS! I'm really grateful for this class. A lot of emotions did rise up and I imagine it will change each time I practice this class (which I will definitely add this to my regular practice). I also like that you stayed on the ground. I love the standing poses but when I'm stressed and anxious it helps me to stay on the mat/ground more. This was really lovely thank you so much

Thank you for this amazing practice. I have started doing yoga seriously recently. I have always been extremely flexible but the years of lifting heavier weights and not paying a proper attention to stretching the body shows up now not in a good way. I am still very flexible but some areas of my body, most of all hips, are so tight i want to cry. I have been doing a lot of your practices for lower back and hips opening. Feels like they are all connected. I am looking forward for more of videos like this!

I really enjoyed this class, the challenge was just right for me as I struggle with some of the hip stretches because of the knee positions. I was today able to take the foot and get the quadricep stretch from the pigeon pose which is normally very tricky for me to stay square and upright! I love your classes and recommend them to everyone! Thank you for sharing your fantastic work, I agree with many of the comments here, best yoga teacher on UA-cam! Namaste!
I have been holding (emotional) tension in my hips for years. So although many of the poses are still challenging for me, I know this is just what I need and it will become a regular part of my practice from now on. Thank you once AGAIN Kristina!

I did feel great after the class! Thank you for the lengthy classes!My only concern is that whenever my knee is in stretches like 9:15 it feels weird.. I am not sure if it the bad kind of pain. I have very good external rotation of the hips, so could that inhibit the internal rotation?
N N thank you!!! You can elevate the hips on the block or try to change the position of the foot. The external rotation of the foot is causing the feeling. So bring the top of the foot to the floor and rotate the sole to the ceiling instead of to the side. sometimes i get it too. Also dont fold too much down
