Nice. Yes, this is the correct route. I try to do midway, then either her to Soarin or check guardians. Guardians is always packed right at rope drop and then like 8:40 it usually drops back down to 10-20. If you want quantity then hit the pier rides, and also get to Soarin like you did. I still think Disneyland is the better rope drop park as you have more closer options if things are down. I usually do space, Matterhorn then either all of toon town or head to Indy, btmrr, haunted, pirates etc and check on rise at 8:40.
Oooh I love your tip to keep an eye on Guardians/Rise at 8:40!! You’re so right about the options being closer to you at Disneyland haha. We were really getting our steps in at DCA! We’ve tried the “Three Mountain” rope drop challenge at Disneyland and had some fails and wins before. It’s always fun! 😂💖
DCA looks like such a pretty park. I feel so bad that every time you do a rope drop video something always goes wrong haha. But I love that you both always make the best of it and have such a good attitude.
Okay same!! Sounds like you’re almost ready for a Magic Key!! They have taken a break from selling them, but I’ll let you know when they’re available again 🥰💖
Great video guys! When i went in september 2022 I rope dropped Soarin, then went to Pixar Pier and did everything there. By 10.30hr I walked to Radiotor Springs to do single riders. At noon I only needed to do Avenger Campus, Hollywood area and Grizzly River Run. Must say that i don't do Tower of Terror or similar rides. Maybe try this next time...
Thank you so much! I love the idea to start with Soarin, that ride is so magical. (I also cannot/will not do Tower of Terror style rides, too scary for me!! But Simon loves them enough to go on them alone 😆). It sounds like your plan worked out perfectly. It is totally worth rope dropping to get to experience all of the rides!! Hope you have a great time on your next visit! 💖
Getting all the way to Pixar Pier at rope drop just to have Incredicaster, TSMM, AND Mickey's Deathwheel all down hurts my soul. Lol. But I very much approve of your strategy, and it's very similar to my usual DCA rope drop strategy! Cheers!
@nerdydaydreams Def TSMM, then MAYBE Incredicoaster, but usually switch it to Guardians, if the initial rope drop crowd has died down. Then after that, either Soarin' or Cars single rider. Sometimes I'll hit up the deathwheel in the morning, but that one takes some time out of the golden hours of rope drop! Lol. I just discovered your channel today and so far enjoy what I've watched so far! Great job! 😊🫡
@@Bekahrama oooooo, I love your plan!! we thought about the 'deathwheel' LOL but I refuse to go on the swinging ones. The stable ones freak me out enough!! hahaha 💖
We love the Lightning Lane Multi Pass, but we only buy it on special occasions (like if we were bringing friends to Disneyland and it’s their first time). It starts at $30 per person, and Simon and I love food so much, so we usually prefer to get extra food instead of the Lightning Lane 😂. But we’re very lucky and go very often!! 💖
For real!! Same, honestly. Simon and I haven’t been on Radiator Springs Racers in the same car since 2019 (back when we had lightning lane built in to our annual pass) 😂💖.
Great vid Mary & Simon! I love following your adventures 💕 I laughed at the surprise Sully sighting 😆
Awww thank makes me so happy Amanda!! Thank you for following along 💖🥰 omg and also SULLY!! We had no idea until we watched back the footage 😂

😂 thank you!! It’s literally not a Nerdy Daydreams rope drop video without chaos! lmao. DCA is so pretty, and they have so much good food!!
dig that split view from the 360 camera! 🎢
thank you so much!! that camera is so fun to use. It's so low pressure because I can just point it anywhere and it captures everything! 😂💖 -Mary
This Is A Great Video👌🔥
Thank you so much!! 🥰💖
haha I feel you. 2019 Jacquelene was a different person too lol.
Right?! It has been 5 years already somehow 😅
Midway Mania is one of our favorite rides! SO fun.
I love it!! And sometimes rides with 3D glasses can make me feel sick but I am okay on Midway Mania!! 🥰
@@nerdydaydreams Same! That ride does it really well.
I want that breakfast shawarma!! And I bet Alex wants the burrito!!

hahaha, right?! That was a tough start, but we made it through!! What is your usual DCA plan?? (If it’s not top secret!) 💖

Do you use Lightning Lane on other rides?

I always do single rider for Radiator Springs Racers - I don’t think I’ve ever seen regular standby drop below 45 minutes 😩

@@nerdydaydreams I totally relate! Especially with the hot weather coming up 🥵 I’ll be on single rider lines every visit
@@enchantingthrills same LOL! It just gets to hot to wait in the main line 😂💖
I cannot believe you have rope dropped goofys sky school lmao
I LOVE the camera views!!!!
We have rope dropped Goofy’s Sky School TWICE now. Proud sky school rope droppers 😂
@@KillerK8sReviews yay thank you!! The 360 camera is magical 🥰💖
Guess: Toy Story mid way mania
Edit: partially right? 😂
😂 you’re right!! I feel like this was our quickest rope drop redemption so far! haha
