So a Gram by Weight of Water is Mililiter of Liquid or Liter of Liquid Water weighs a Kilogram In the UK we don't talk about heavy or light cream we speak of single, whipping & double cream. Light =~ Single & Heavy =~ Double. Is half & half a mixture of Light & Heavy? Then that's probably what we mean by whipping cream, otherwise I don't know what half & half is but to a Brit and possibly other members of the commonwealth whipping cream is different from what you would call light & Heavy cream I hope this helps
