I'm also glad that you weren't harsh with Fake Waves, as I thought I was the only one who genuinely enjoyed it; funk with steady beats and no explosive drops that makes my brain tell my body to headbang.
Side little detail in the CN version of cc 12, the hateful avenger is called "vendetta" which i like more since its more fitting and sounds cooler also it match with the whole idea for cc 12 basepoint. So yeah the whole tangent was to say i loved operation basepoint haha
For me Ashring is an ultimate Sarkaz song. CC10 uses Shatterpoint mechanics, which is a chapter that tell us about sarkaz uniting under Theresa/Theresis(guardian angels) banner in order to give a fight of their lives.
writing wise basepoint prob my fav CC soundtrack but the scream kinda suck and dry so pine soot are my current fav sad CC have to go, only start playing during il siracusano so i only participate with 2 last CC, i don't know if pinch out gonna be good or not.
You know what bothers me about this tier list? Like to an absurd and (rather dumb) degree? Its not the placements. As you said, it's subjective. Everyone has their own tastes. No, it's something much more petty. It's fact the highest tier is "SS" and not "SSS".
Either Pyrite or Blade are the best for me And if you ask me before this CC comes out, it makes me think that Basepoint was not a great song at all. It feels bizarre and terrible at first,... but man, after it actually came to Global and heard it more than ten times,... somehow I have to take my words back CC songs don't have any bad song If you must ask about the worst, must be the Cinder one If they somehow can keep the original Cinder then it won't be like that. Too bad that it could have been all S-tier songs for me
Basepoint and Deepness Even though I wasn’t around during Deepness, I love the theme and honestly also see it as Irene’s theme, one where it’s her taking a stand against the Sea Terrors and isn’t just doing it as some pawn due to the orders of the Iberian Inquisition, she kept herself in silence and followed orders, but now at the cost of her innocence in faith, she will free herself from her chains to hold those she loves (Lumen for example) close to her to keep them safe. Meanwhile Basepoint, even though I’m not able to Risk 18, best is Risk 4 due to being a new-ish player, I just feel the intensity of this moment. One last stand, a fight from both sides wanting a tooth for a tooth and an eye for an eye, and the pure rage and vengeful spirit of the strongest Infected without any Arts, just a blade in each hand and the fires of those who have fallen, Reid. And even as CC ends he will keep fighting even if nothing will remain… These themes are my favourites in the entire game along with Awaken, Morning Dew and Golden Age, and they stand as the themes that will motivate me to push on through any hard content in the game. IS, SSS, DOS (when it reaches Global) and whatever is next. And even if I only got a taste of the challenge and fun of CC, I’m glad I could at least play the send off.

This is literally my tier list, but with the only one difference: i would put Deepness in the SS tier
