CryptoTab Browser Mining Review - Mine Bitcoin from your Phone or PC!

- CryptoTab is a free Chrome-based browser for Android, iOS and Windows that lets you mine Bitcoin. I've been running it for nearly a week now and I've put together my results to see whether this is a profitable venture or not. More details on my setup are below. Note that I've paid extra for the Cloud Boost function but you don't need to do this in order to mine.

Note that you don't need to use multiple phones or even leave your screen on for the cloud mining to work - I'm just doing it to maximise earnings. You do however need to activate the app every 3 hours which is where my automation routine comes in to play...Note that using the automatic routine is done so at your own risk. Some people say you can get your account banned in doing so.

My Clickmate combined recording setup is as follows:
Clear all apps from memory (switch tasks in Android)
Load CryptoTab and make sure you're on the Dashboard screen
Press the "Turn On" button to start mining
Slide to start mining (mine is repeating 5 times)
Start up the Black Screen app to save the screen from burning (works on AMOLED screens)
Wait for 181 minutes (I did a record of 60s without pressing or doing anything)
Repeat = 0 to repeat all the above indefinitely.

What if you share your referral link to your other 5 devices and login with 5 different emails? In theory you shold earn BTC with normal hashrate and get a part to the main account.
Mining on PC or phone which one is better …..and if pc which specs would you recommend
Crypto tab is using phone system or need to buy miner ? because when I want start mine on my phone it says buy miner
One thing I have to say the hashrate is calculated in xmr not btc hashrate. So when go and do hashrate calculation do it in monero.

Hi. I have a question. I was joining a crypto mining pool and have 2 wallets. One with no funds and one with funds. All of a sudden when opening why trust wallet all of my funds were gone in the secong wallet and it turns out that the admin of the mining pool have pledges my funds and says it's illegal to mine with 2 wallets and unless I don't pay a deposit equal the amount of the funds they have pledged from me. And they told me that when I have payed the whole deposit my funds will be reliesed back to my wallet imidiately. Are they allowed to do this? I did not know about the 2 wallet rule and my first wallet was unfunded. Thankful for all the help I can get.

No the free version you don't - unless it doesn't support iPhone... I only have an android...

Just a heads up. You can turn a setting on under developer settings that when your charging your screen stays on all the time. So you don’t need the screen stay on widget .

When I withdraw BTC its been taking longer than usual to transfer. I canceled the last two transers, one even said to reconfirm, I did and it still didnt transfer. Months ago it was quick. Not sure whats going on.

No not at all. You just need a minimum of 0.00001 BTC before you can withdraw

I think the effort isn't worth it if you are using the free version.

You're probably right - unless you have a decent PC and CPU that it could mine effectively

I have looked into it and sadly, with my CPU at least, it would not be profitable..I'd get about $5/month and that's before electric so would likely be in the negative each month.
You should have different accounts on each phone, all referral to 1 main account.

You can only use it on one mobile device but you can use as many Windows computers as you like

My little mini PC I have uses about 11W/hour which is very little. A desktop PC however would use a lot more...

I wouldn't say it's a ponzi - you can just use the Lite version which is completely free if you want. It'll be slower to mine but won't cost anything (except the electric costs).
yeah, its just does not make any sense, since your hashrate is not based on real numbers, you also can't see any difficulty its basicly a big black box which needs money to start doing something.
Other worrying signal is its a mining, but it does not stack with multiple device? So you would need to create multiple account, pay the initial price multiple time...
its really a ponzi or simply they could just blindly increase the "difficulty" so users will get less bitcoin if they don't have enough new users to pay out
Don't forget you don't need to pay anything at all - there's a free version (the 'Lite' version in the Play Store) - and mining from your computer is also free - you just pay the electric

I recently bought multiple tablets and created a gmail for each device and bought the app for each device but each time i turn on mining it tells me i already have an account running. They are all diffrent and i paid for separate accounts. Whats the problem ? Is it that i cant use the same ip address? Because i have vpns on each phone as well and still nothing. please help
