Words fail me to express how i feel when I see Ireland play…. I’ve been privileged to have lived amongst you wonderful Irish people, I’m an Australian and lover of rugby and when I see not only how your national team plays but also how they conduct themselves while in pursue of excellence it’s just amazing… well done Ireland for being by far the best team in the world and congratulations for getting there doing it the right way….!!!!
I’m not sure there could be an Andy without Joe. When he saw the weakness in perfection the adversity became his companion. This is the perfect potent fuel for winning, anything’s possible, anything.
Couldn't agree more. This Journo? inventing both a question and Andy's answer is laughable, I'd imagine he'd only be full of praise for Joe in what he achieved in laying down the foundations of a new Irish era, whilst being thankful to him for all he's learned over those years.
Healy's introduction to the Irish scrum was brilliant, the Scottish scrum stood no chance from then on. Ireland should seriously consider that as a tactic against the bigger front rows eg SA, France England etc. Although someone else would have to be well coached in throwing in .Dominant scrums can win tight games by winning penalties and demoralising the opposition.
It's a hark back to the old days, when kids started playing rugby and if your frame fit, you went into the front row! I played Loose, Tight-Head and Hooker(as did many of my "front-row" contempories, throughout my early playing days........The fact I grew 6inches, whe I hit 16, but stayed the same weight, put paid to my Front-Rower days
Kind of. He is fair but seriously demanding in my view. No coach at that level is the same, there’s always a media ‘head’. Can’t give away too much to the opposition.
Dunno about on the training pitch, but in person he's exactly the same! Humble, Honest and a consummate Gentleman.........But as with all the truly great "Leaders of Men" he doesn't have to shout, bully or belittle anyone! This Irish squad would follow him anywhere!
If can’t get excited when you’re the number 1 ranked team in the world, have beaten all the S Hemisphere teams in a calendar year, and are heading into Paddy’s weekend with the chance of a Grand Slam in a World Cup year…..when can you get excited? 🤷🏻♂️
I think you need to put Andy on a show With Nathan instead of Joe . 1 Joe keeps jumping in because he like to be centra of attention ! 2 Andy Dunne thinks and gives a slow taught out answer. But on here with Joe and Jerry fighting for talk time with him we are not getting the best from Andy ...
He always talks about the time he got thumped by Scotland A by 70 odd points. Don’t think it’s relevant to Ireland hammering Scotland in Murrayfield, but maybe I’m wrong.
Tomo takes the time to listen to the views of pundits on an Irish team coached by an English man, then drops in this rubbish to the comments. You won’t get those 10 minutes back Tomo

Imagine being an Irish kid and growing up watching the team and our ups and downs. Look like at us!
Agree

Genuinely thought you were talking about the Joe Molloy and Andy Dunne ... and was nodding along in agreement!

Getting to a stage where part of my week is looking forward to listening to Dunne & Thormley. Class as always!
Ah these lads are legends. Best rugby panel in the world. Should be 2 hours. Sure stick the odd guest on there with them.
I wonder is the media Andy Farrell the same as he is on the training pitch. He comes across great but still down to earth.

Love these two
The Chuckle brothers.
Farrell(was) is clever enough to take all the positives from Joe smicht and add to it brilliant coach, manager and person
We're all getting too excited.

No, Newstalk is.
Yep, and long may it continue!

Anyone know what happened to the Irish Times sports reporter, Tony Humphries? Where is he now?
Went to prison for a couple of years didn't he?
*Tom Humphries
He's works in a sportsbra factory in spain.
Proves Jackman does nothing but talk through his hole.
his cat said these things??
Irish can lose this match if 2 of our best don't play
I'd like to ask Andy Dunne how many times he beat Scotland when he played for Ireland? Or even if he ever played Scotland!
What?
Why would you like to ask him that? It seems a pointless question
And that’s relevant because?
He always talks about the time he got thumped by Scotland A by 70 odd points.
Don’t think it’s relevant to Ireland hammering Scotland in Murrayfield, but maybe I’m wrong.
@@blackbar9299 By "Hammering" do you mean the only team in this 6N to not concede a bonus point try?
3 British Irish men talking shoite
How are they British Irish?
Tomo the hard man is here to give his opinions

One anglo-phobic comment. Jesus. You don't have to be a Gaa head from Kerry to be an Irishman😅
