I would love to see you start a beginner series where you teach us the basics! I've always drawn on paper, and have been using gimp for a while for various digital design projects, but would love to translate my art into digital art! Your art style is beautiful by the way!

Thank you! How do you get the color wheel to show on the left pane? What is the hardness, size, and force of the brush that you usually use? How do you get colors to stay in within the line? I just feel like grabbing a colour pencil instead of the mouse 😄

For the lines, I see that you used black or dark grey for the outline, but then I notice a weak orange tone on top of her chin outline. How did you change the black outline closer to the skin shadow color? I outline my drawings too, but I don't want a harsh black outline surrounding the character... I hope my description makes sense since I don't know how to phrase it... :/

I locked the layer, used the soft round brush to recolor the line art.
