Limits are quite important for laser guided weapons because you need to use the TGP to guide it in. You can bank right after deploying it to keep the target on your left side and avoid diving and decelerating.
Thank you brother! It really is. I love this game. Looking forward to explore all the different weapons - there's so many to choose which is pretty impressive.
Casual gamers find it too demanding/intimidating to get into. I've tried two of my friends, one was a msfs enthusiast who had literally expressed disappointment that msfs had no weapons, and the other was a vr gamer who initially told me yes, but then backed out. As though he'd looked it up and saw how daunting it was. I'm devastated tbh
6:40 "Pickle" is used as terminology for the weapon release button on the stick, you can say something like "I'm going to pickle" but when you release a certain weapon, it's best practise to say the codename of the weapon you released. The gbu12 is called a paveway
Iv been watching a lot of tutorials on this game, and by far, yours is the best. It's clear and informative but not complicated to get confused. Are you doing anymore tutorials? It would be very helpful. Keep up the good work
Hi :) Well, first of all thanks very much for watching! And that’s a great question. There’s two things. The first is the openVR (I think that’s what that’s called) extension for OBS. What this does it capture the raw signal coming from the headset which gives you the best resolution possible. Secondly, there’s a setting directly in the game called “S Cam”. This can be accessed in the MFD menu of any aircraft. It allows you to change the camera that is displayed out to OBS as well as a host of other features including FOV. It also helps you capture a wider view by recording what both eyes would see and consolidating that into one image. That makes it much easier to watch. Hope that helped answer your question :)
There is a community map of the trench run from Top Gun Maverick, and included is the bombing run at the end. It's a fun map to fly through, but I can never get the shoot cue at the end. I'm not sure if it's something I'm doing wrong or if it's just because of the very small distance to target. I'm very new to VTOL and I'm still trying to learn the GPS and laser targeting weapons, but I've followed every step shown in your video and still can't get it to work. Any thoughts?
Are you using laser? Or GPS? If I'm not mistaken I think these might work in both ways. I can't remember too well. In any case, if the TGP doesn't have clear line of sight to the target, there's no way you can accurately deploy it in laser mode. So, maybe use GPS instead? Kind of cheating I guess, but it would still look badass and nobody would know other than you and me that you used GPS ;)

Good points. This was just a quick and dirty (giggity) but right you are. Thanks!
@@SSPGaming It's a good tutorial, keep up the great work
Thank you bro! Much appreciate the view and your thoughts :)
Such an underrated game. Great video 👍

Thanks so much! I really appreciate the kind words :)
U really helped me with this! thankss. got a new sub fr
Thanks bro :) I appreciate it :)
I'm really curious how you record this. The FOV is fantastic for recorded VR.

Ok so I think my mistake was that I was using the center reticle to release the bomb and diving at the target
Would it be possible to do more or less the same tutorials in your videos for the F45 ?
If I ever get back into the game, yeah :)
My legally blind ass has a hard time with the smaller MFD, and hud stuff. Mainly numbers lol
You too, huh? :P
