One thing I wonder about VTOL VR is this: Can you control External Drones from within a jet? Aka Manned Unmanned teaming to simulate what 6th fighters are going to be roughly able to do.
You can vaguely tell your AI wingmen to do different things by using the comms menu or the limited voice commands. I guess you could roleplay by saying that these AI planes aren't actually piloted by people but are just AIs that you can tell to do your bidding. Flavor is free after all
That was some awesome flying! Maybe you can answer the age-old is it the plane or the pilot question. Could a 500hr F-45A player win against a 1000hr F/A-26 player?
The skill of a player in most competitive games goes up logarithmically, so a player with 500 hours will be almost as good as a player with 1000 hours (assuming no other external factors). Especially since the f-45 is massively op compared to the wasp in the hands of less experienced players
Pretty sure he answered that question in a previous video. And the answer was yes, the F-45 wins always however a good pilot can beat the F/A-26 in the Trainer jet.
Main reason i dont go off game time is simple. Since I got arma, I've put almost 700 hours into it, played just about every minute of it. I have a friend that got arma like a year after me, and would leave it on all day. Got over 1000 hours within a few months. Probably played about 200 of those hours. That's why i don't go off recorded play time, it's too easy to cheat the system to get the hours without the work. I go off of how good the person is. I've seen plenty of new people take the time to actually learn a game and be better than someone who just sticks with the bare minimum and has a more time than new people
it only takes 40-70 hrs to get an actual pilot's license and if you worked 1000 hours for say national average ($30/HR) you could have had paid for the classes about 3/4 times over.
