Thank you, I tried several times the option with "cmd" which did not work for me, even after restarting the computer, than I tried the other option with "regedit" which worked for me, where I was able to move again folders, movies, images etc to my Samsung HDD Model MU ( Portable SSD T5 ), the only thing that I can't do now is to remove the "files" that I have already inside the HDD, have to figure that out, but my first plan was to move some movies onto the HDD and thanks to this video ( probably the 5th one watching, where all the others were about the "cmd" option ) and thanks to which I was able to remove the write protection. Do you know why these HDD make these protections by themselves when I didn't do any action? Was it maybe due to some windows update ? Thank you

Guys, first just make sure that switch on your sd card reader (if any) is not 'locked'. If so, just unlock it and you're good to go!!

TANVIR rh prince i suppose you mean 'check'. Its a switch located on the side of the sd card reader. Its easy to notice. If it's not there then keep searching for a solution online.

I have purchased NEW SanDisk Ultra Pendrive 32gb USB 3, as soon as I opened the packet and plug the Pendrive into the computer the PENDRIVE is showing WRITE PROTECTED, I am not able to write anything or format it.
1. Tried using DISKPART--------------method failed to remove Write Protection and the current state is READ ONLY.
2.Tried using EaseUS partition Pro-----method failed to remove Write Protection (error Cannot format disk Write protected)
3. Tried the Regedit method to change StorageDevicePolicies-----Failed method, Also I don't have StorageDevicePolicies folder, I have created one and set the value to 0 but nothing worked.
4. Tried UfixII Pny/HP software----------Failed (Device Not found the error)
5. Tried AOMEI Partition Assistant Unlimited Edition 6.5-----Failed (not able to format due to write protection)
6. Tried Restore v3.18.0.0------Failed (Device not found)
7. Tried Win32Disk Imager----Failed method
8. Tried Formatter Silicon Power v3.7-----------Failed (No device found)
9. Tried to Unallocated Space from Disk Manager------But not able to unallocated space(Failed)
10. Tried Formatting through mobile by connecting through OTG cable-----But Failed because of Write Protection Error.
11. Tried BOOTICE software----But Failed (write protection error)
So Finally I am giving up, wasted my 4-5hrs time, but no solution found, watched over 15-20 videos on UA-cam, each video contain solution from above methods, especially the DISK PART and Regedit method.
*So friends final Notes*:- Don't waste time, If your Pendrive is NEW replace it from the online website you have purchased if it is under warranty Replace it from the service center, Else Time to buy the new one.
Hey there, as seen from the video the 3rd method will obviously work.
Even, I didn't have the named folder.
But go for a folder named USB and click AutomaticSurpriseRemoval ( double click ) and set value to zero. You wont get the warning of your disk being write protected.

The second method worked for me
I created an .img file myself by changing the extension of a random text/photo document
And wrote it using the win32 disk image
Then i tried to format it(without ejecting after writing)
And it went successful
I didn't have to goto 3rd step

okay... I did whatever you show in video and also refereed that website you mentioned in description but my micro SD card is still not formatting. That was locked in windows 7 with bit locker but now I'm now windows 10 home so I can't remove that protection. PLEASE HELP!!!

go to run write regedit
on right hand side click default ..modify /change value to 0.

At the time of applying 3rd method I got problem with my regedit where there was no StorageDevicePolicies but I created it and also created a file named writeprotect ... but in vain I couldn't repair my pendrive.
