Woww! This is the best listening practice and tutoring I have ever received on YT! Because you follow up and explain it too, and I have listened to a lot of different listening practice audios on YT.
These are the best jlpt5 listening tests I’ve found so far. Thanks for putting these together. The format is very helpful for new learners and reviewing too.
This video is excellent! I've been studying a lot lately before my big trip to Japan in March, and this video is amazing practice! I loved trying to follow along with the conversation, and then walking through the conversation together as you pointed out important points along the way! These types of videos are wonderful! Thank you so much!!!
Great Work, thank you ❤ I am going to have my N5 next weekend and I was very nervous till I found your Video. Got 4/5 and still one week for improving:)
OMG YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND HOW HAPPY I AM RIGHT NOW, i study Japanese everyday real hard. I've seen your listening test video on my first day of learning, none of them words i understood. And today, FINALLY, I GOT EM ALL ANSWERS RIGHT! 😫😫😫🥲 Moreeee... thanks sensei
I was following this channel and insta too since starting my experience is amazing . Arigatoo sensei for helping us ❤️. Keep growing and keep smiling 😁
The question was so tricky if you don't listen properly or didn't know much words it's all up to luck ... at first i heard ona which is "lady" otoko "male" i immediatley picked 2 then i heard department store i changed to 4 but i didn't understand the real conversation which is they decided to meet at the bookstore T.T thank you for posting such educational videos like this we will support your videos
Super helpful! I was in trouble finding good japanese training videos and I came across to your channel! I'm really interested on this kind of approach, plus it gives me an actual feels on what JLPT test would be like~ thank you!
omg i got 4/5!!! i've made a mistake in the first question, but then i can answer the second to fifth question correctly bc of ur explanation in the first question! thank u soo muchh for making this vid Mochi Sensei
I really like your video's. I have been studying Japanese for 2 1/2 years and still am a beginner, but I hear a lot of words in your video's which is good, but was wondering if you make video's that are a little less complicated and shorter... However, thank you for the ones I have listened to so far.. They are helping me tune into the Japanese Language.. Aligato..
My answers: 1) Incorrect --> I knew Hon beans book, I heard honya means bookstore but wasn't super sure, and then those "midori yama, eki no tonari" created confusion and took my focus away from the Honya, haha. 2) correct --> I understood 'yukkuri tabetai desu kara', he'd prefer to eat slowly together, and the concert is in 2 o'clock, so he suggested 30 minutes before 3) correct 4) correct 5) correct
Number 2's 12時半 tripped me in my mind I was thinking about 10分 instead of 30分 and this caused me one wrong, sigh hahaha. Thanks again 先生、今にJLPTN5の聞きる事を練習しています。 Edit: got 5/5 this time, and that time didnt tripped me either!
Yeay I got 4 out of 5 right. I'm still not able to understand everything but at least I feel some progress. The one with the times was by far the most difficult for me. Please do more of these videos. They help a lot 🙂
It was difficult as some of the words and vocab aren't in my jlpt 5 books. But I was able to get some cues based on what I learned. Definitely reading is easier than listening for me
Thanks for this very helpful video! I only got 2/5 correct and 1 was pretty lucky haha. I’m going to keep practicing Japanese until I am fluent one day!!
Please continue making these N5 listening tests, it's super useful!

先生、このレッスン本当にありがとうございました。
Even though I didn't understand maybe 50% of the words I still gathered enough to get questions correct and I was very encouraged! ^^
"Okashi wa ii" can also be directly translated to "I'm good with snacks" which is basically a "I already have enough snacks, it's okay".
わかりました。先生 遠もありがとおございます。🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
