It is a metaphor for the domestic auto industry folks. Yes the Duece and quarter were made in Flint. Chrysler, Ford and GM workers weren't/aren't just imagination to Bob. They were his friends, classmates and neighbors. If not for rock-and-roll Bob most likely would have been on a line also and he knows that.
@@oldgoat1950 I played tenor in high school. One year they posted orchestra parts for the musical. It listed a bass sax part. I asked the orchestra director if it was a typo. She checked and it wasn't. I said if she found one, I wanted to play it. She checked all over the state and finally found one. They sent it down and I got to play it for a couple months. It was so cool!
God bless Bob Seger. One of the greats of all time
He nailed the perfect sound with the Silver Bullet Band ! They are the best. Love his music.
Truly Outstanding! Michigan Rock! Written by the great John Hiatt!
I think John Hiatt a great songwriter
Go BOB SEGER GO!! LOVE YOU !! From MICHIGAN!! You are the absolute BEST !
My favorite band to see live.
Segar is a National Treasure. And, as famous as he is, he's STILL under rated.
Absolutely 👍
Best of all time Bob Seger and Alto Reed plays a mean Sax.
First concert I ever say. Live Bullitt in Seattle 1974. Last concert I saw with my son in Portland 2018. ROCK OUT

That's quite a baritone sax Alto Reed is playing.
Bass sax, not baritone. Bass.
@@petebradt Yes. I played tenor and baritone sax in high school and I never saw one that big. Must be a bass.
