✿. Hey beautiful! It’s Gina from orchidandopal.com. In today's beading tutorial I will show you how to make a design that I am calling the Netted Bicone and Herringbone Bracelet. This piece combines two basic beading stitches: herringbone, and netting. It's very simple to adjust the length of this bracelet; simply extend the lengths of herringbone beading stitch, or add additional rows of netting. 11/0 rounds seed beads may also be substituted for the Delica beads, if you choose. Please see below for the full list of materials:

Well, you're uploading, so you've still got power..💡Hope you don't get too much ice accumulation.🤞(I've got about 3" so far, primarily snow, but mixing with sleet here and there, more coming overnight, turning to rain; up to 8" total.) Been looking forward to this tutorial, it's a lovely design! Stay safe!
Hi Pat! We were bracing for the worst, but it hasn't been as bad as predicted, and so far we still have power - yay! Only sleet/freezing rain so far, and it's less than what we received in round 1 over the weekend. We may get more sleet/freezing rain tonight, so we are still hoping that we get through the morning hours without any further issues. You are getting more of the fluffy stuff! Still cold, but at least it's better than mostly sleet/freezing rain! Stay warm too, and have fun with this tutorial!! 😁🥶
@@ORCHIDandOPAL Glad to hear it's expected to be less than the previous one. I've been watching the Weather Channel, and it looks like VA is mostly in the rain for now, good especially since some areas of your state are still without power. It was very pretty here earlier, with big fluffy blobs coming down! The precipitation form has been very changeable, though; I was just about to go out and do a little preemptive shovelling (we're in a lull at the moment), but now I hear sleet zinging against the windows....got to do it, though, before it gets heavier/wetter overnight. Also have to feed the ferals.
Wow, they just showed a LA bayou, snow covering all the swamp trees, and covering the hanging moss, looking like so many icicles. What a sight!
Stay warm, dry, safe, and creative!

Nice 🤩🤩🤩💖💖
Thank you! 💜
Very interesting pattern. Just wondering, I don't have the clasp that you used what would you suggest I use instead?
Also how would rondelles look with it, instead of bicones?
Hi Miscel - great question! If you feel comfortable, you could bead the ends of the bracelet down to more of a pointed shape (single strand), and attach pretty much any type of clasp. You could trim the edges from a width of 3 diamonds, to two, then to one. Hard to explain in words, so I hope that makes sense! I think you could definitely use small rondelles instead of bicones, since the bicones really just sit on top of the netting. Small, sparkly rondelles would look really nice! Even better if you have ones that will fit inside the netting...maybe 3x2's or similar?
@@ORCHIDandOPAL Like brick stitch. Thanks for responding. Would try it out!!!👍
Loved your tutorial. How long was your bracelet. I have a very small wrist and would probably need to make it smaller.
Hi Susan! It was just about 7" on the nose. 💜😁
@@ORCHIDandOPAL I saw that after, sorry. I’m making it now and found I was breaking my 15’s even using a size 12 needle. My solution to this was using a delica at the point where there are several passes, such as where we added the bicone. Hope this helps others. It’s a great bracelet!
This is awesome what is the color name of that blue bead?
Hi Bonnie! Swarovski - LIGHT TURQUOISE AB2X #5328 💜💜💜
Espectacular.y.metodo.clarisimo.para.realizarlo..muy.entendible.la.explicacion....mfelicitaciones
¡Gracias! 💜💜💜
If made thinner, could I make it into a necklace?
Great idea, Kathy! 💜 You could do a single strand as a necklace, or something like this as a choker. If you want a necklace that hangs down, it could be modified so that it curves around the front of the neck. I might just have to come up with something for a future tutorial! 💜💜💜
