Great review man, love the insight. That board looks pretty dope for an all around shredder. Daily driver? Those Union Stratas are looking legit too. 🤙🏼
Thanks dude, this could be a good daily driver! I might still lean towards to warpig for myself personally because I think it’s a bit more park friendly
I’m really interested in getting my hands on one of these. My jones flagship just isn’t wide enough for me. Being a size uk 11 is not a good thing! Though I’m not much of a park rat , more carving & bombing slopes with some switch thrown in.
Seems like you might have underestimated the size recommendations. You'd probably have had a much better experience with a S or M at your size. Unless you have a huge boot, I can see why it felt like a lot of board as it was probably tough to gain quick edge access. Somehow you still managed to look so smooth out there though, as usual.
Hey TJ, I hope all is good. I was wondering if you could answer me the following question, and if you have any recommendations. I am looking on buying the Superpig but I don’t know that if my boot size is to small for this wide board. My boot size is a 7.5, is this too small or will it be alright? Btw you do an amazing job in all your videos, you nailing it! Thanks! Saludos de Chile!
Hey TJ, always great videos and lots of perfect explanations with all those features. I was wandering, which boots were you wearing? And which are the ones you prefer at all for those longs days at resorts? Cheers from italy, always supporting your channel! 🇮🇹
Hey TJ, thanks for another great review! Ive recently bought the 158 Superpig, but now Im having second thoughts if the 154 might be better for me. I'm 6'3'' / 210 lbs with size 13 boots and like high speed/carving/big mtn with the occasional jumps. What size would you recommend?
I got the 158 Warpig. Not quite as tall as you (I'm 5'11) but I'm 250. Once you get passed that 200+ mark, you'll need that extra height to balance your weight out on the board. Remember though, the Superpig and Warpig aren't really powder boards. So a little extra height never hurt anyone!
Do you think this board is something I could progress into? I am not much for the freestyle side of things as of yet. I’m an intermediate that likes groomers and all mountain resort. Also is this board easy to catch an edge?
Thanks for all your content!! I had a question about sizing and fitting it into my quiver. I am 6'2 210lbs and size 11-11.5 boots. I have a 156 orca, and 163w berzerker. I was thinking of the 158 for a do it all board, but would it be too wide for my feet? Thanks again
Hi TJ, whats your weight and boot size and size selection for the superpig. I am 5'10", 162lb, boot size 11 (thirtyTwo) and I am undecided between the 148 or the 151. Whats your recommendation? Thanks for the help. Currently riding a 156 2014 Rossi OneMagTek. Ride all mountain but seldom parks Small Jumos and natural features. Thanks for help.

I'm guessing this board is going to be quite similar to the Yes Optimistic? In much the same way as the new Yes "The Y" is going to be like the Ride Warpig.
Is this board less aggressive than burton custom x? I like burton custom x for carving, but wanted to try something just a little more playful. Best regards from Poland!
Im 75 kg / riding style agresive and 24 yrs riding full winters , need to know what size os for me the right like all mountain board ! Some days in park ! Thx , i will buy one but need advice for the size ,this side cut i have no clue how it works ! Normaly i ride btw 154 to 157 in capitas boards and YES boards ! Like greats , typo, mercury , bataleon .
I think you’d really enjoy the 151, especially if you’re planning to ride park. The 154 would also work but it’s a lot of board and would excel more for high speed/carving/big mtn
Hey TJ! Just got my hands on a 2020 Ride Superpig. What bindings would you recommend for this board? Most importantly how stiff? You usually wanna match or at least get a similar stiff boots/bindings/board setup, right? I have a pair of drake reload bindings which is on paper a 3/5. Superlight more of an all mountain freestyle bindings. Would this be ok or do you think I should aim towards stiffer bindings with different highback? What is your opinion? Thanks in advance!
Yo TJ, maybe it's just the camera angle or my eyes playing tricks on me but at 2:45 it looks like you have your stance set pretty far forward. Looks almost like you're riding a twin board. If so, were your turns still quick and intuitive or did it hesitate to initiative turns at all? Also how did it ride switch??
Definitely more aggressive, better for carving and charging at high speeds. The TRS would likely float better with its camber profile and has that mag so they are still quite different
Damn I was almost ordering a Capita Mercury /Jones Explorer/ K2 Manifest, but my board is just reviewed! @TJ Would you recommend it to: Dominate the Groomers, go on a Pow (up to 30cm), play around, hit site jumps, carve between the Skiers of your group ?Coming from Jibsaw, want sth directional, more flex. Would love to read your answer, Greetz from Germany
I use Now bindings with mine. I have the JJ drive model. Those bindings combined with the torsional flex makes going from edge to edge lightning fast, and responsive.
I have a Large in the War Pig, but that’s almost too much board. I always have to do a double check on my boards Because I weigh 200lbs and the boards that are often recommended to me are in the 160 range, which I’ve learned is way to big for me, being shorter. Out west I can rock a 157-158 just fine. Thanks for the tip
If the Warpig is a 5/10 on the flex scale, how would you rate the Superpig? How easy or hard is it to butter and press with the extra stiffness? I'm swaying towards an XL pig now for the extra width (US13 boots, 34cm long!, but already have a Jones Flagship, so not sure if it's overkill considering a Superpig as my second board.
