After three days of searching, I find your solution to stamp pad storage to be the easiest and least expensive that I have found. Especially for a small unusual space. Thank you for posting the video and printed instructions. I'm going to use your solution for my stamp pad storage.
I made a storage shelf using your directions right before the pad size change, and I made new slipcases for the new colors using the same measuring system of 3/4" plus one little mark (LOL) I also added legs to each set of shelves the exact measurement of the height of the slip cases to increase the stability. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you so much for this update video! Even though I don't have any new style SU pads, this update was very helpful in answering some questions I had about stacking the layers. xoxo
Glad it was helpful! Every time I edit a video I think I need a director and a script. I always seem to leave important steps out. Some day I'll get it all together. I love the new stamp cases. You might try them out with the new In Colors.
Bev Adams I had plans to get them all back when they first changed over to the new cases, but things changed and I couldn't. Maybe one day. Right now I just want to use the inks I already have, lol. Have you ever made these types of holders for Ranger's distress inks, or oxide inks?
dhillcrafts No, I don't have stamp pass from other companies. I'm loyal to Stampin' Up! But on my website post for the updated storage I did include hope to measure any stamp pad case to make a box to fit.
I loved it too. But now I've switched over to the new Storage from Stampin' Up! I can keep my Stampin' Write Markers and Stampin'Blends together. Certainly the cardstock one is less expensive.
Ingenious! I love this i just finished making the boxes. It works like a charm. I've needed an ink pad storage but i need the ink paper stamps etc more. Thank you so much for sharing.
Thank you! Yes, it does work great! And for those of you who have both older and newer styles of stamp pads, I have the dimensions for both. You'll just have to have the same side on each horizontal row or use cardboard shims to make the new style as thick as the old style.
