- New tracks on Case tractor. With one rear trac shredded and the other getting close to popping lugs. Its time for this Case IH 550 quadtrac to get a new set of rear tracks. The new ones in this instance. Are Continental 30 inch scraper tracks.

we must be the premier employeer. the way the young man keeps coming back. or maybe theirs other reasons. reasons unknown by all partys. But im sure any concerns can be addressed by our friendly HR manager

Hi guys, I neat trick with the skidsteer can assist you loads in refitting these tracks, what you need is a 2 foot length of decent wall thickness box section that slides neatly over one of the forks with a hole in the top and a 2omm nut welded on so bolt can be screwed in so as to clamp the box to the fork, at the opposite end 6 inches in weld a piece of thick angle like 60x80x10mm across the box and weld brace fillets behind, then you can lift the track on the top drive roller and push on the side of the track with out risk of puncturing or slipping of the track, happy track fitting guys

Wish that I had recorded some of the ones I had to change out. Only did Cat Challenger but it was in the beginning, had one with all of the three point and PTO on the back wad the track up under the machine on about a 40 degree slope. Had to tie it off to a 615 at the top of the hill to keep it from slipping off of the jacks. It was a lovely all night job.

Dort hast du nicht alles Werkzeug aber mit Wissen und Erfahrung kannst viel erreich. Dies geht nur mit unkonventionellen Methoden. Beispiel: Kran um die Hydraulikpumpe auszubauen. Unter einen starken Baum fahren. Ein langes Holz unter den Dicken Ast schnüren. So kannst du mit dem Hebelgesetz des Holz die Pumpe leicht heben. Mit einem langen Holz und Hebelgesetz kannst du viel bewirken. Ich bevorzuge Heutzutage trotzdem eine geheizte Halle und fester Boden mit allem Schnickschnack.

Drove a quadtrac in the uk for 5 years got through 2 sets of tracks the lugs in the center ripped off.
Yeah thats what happens pulling the scrapers. Ill try to get a video of some of our projects up soon.

Yeah but after one wore thru to the threads and blew out its got nice brand new ones as of a month ago🙂
By the way, why didn`t you unscrew bolts with Milwaukee? With 2000nm model you could make new threads for these bolts :D
ours wouldnt budge them its a 3/4 inch drive with an adapter to 1 inch drive the adapter cuts down on its power ive found. not sure the model. Im looking forward to getting their 1 inch drive extended anvil impact!
How many hours does these tracks last?
We really dont know they were on their when we bought the tractor

Yes by the time we quite their were cables hanging out of the belt as well
