- Odin has opened up the Ashlands in Valheim, adding new lands, enemies, and craftables! I'm starting fresh with a new game in Valheim as we work through the content to get to the Ashlands.
A brutal exploration and survival game for 1-10 players, set in a procedurally-generated purgatory inspired by viking culture. Battle, build, and conquer your way to a saga worthy of Odin’s patronage!

If you are exploring with a boat and finding red water, don't sail into it.( Your boat takes damage from it and will probably get destroyed). You must kill the queen first.

Yes the night time ingame lighting is natural looking but still light enough to see what you are doing.

Ha, that's one way to get your skills up, just invite all your forest friends inside your home! Where were the shaman and brutes though? They normally like to party too.
I saw at least one shaman. Not sure about the brute though
@@CrypticFoxGaming Yep, saw the shaman and brute after the raid, guess the post was late with their invites. If there is one thing you can do to be much more successful throughout the game, it's to have a resting buff at ALL times, not just pay it lip service and continue without it. 👄
Hey Cryptic, if you put two horizontal logs of core wood next to each other you can have flooring under your campfire
They seemed to have added more atmospheric smoke to the Crypts since I last watched anyone place Valheim
Seeing this is making me want to get back on my world. I haven't played in a few years. My massive castle is calling me back. I wonder what's changed in all that time?
I haven’t read all the patch notes. It if you haven’t played in years there is new decorative stuff to craft, new equipment, the mistlands biome, and now the ashlands biome too.
@@CrypticFoxGaming ya I logged in and it's a whole new world. I finally beat Bonemass and can progress to the mountains Thankfully I made a portal base in the mistlands before they developed it and I was lucky enough to build high up in a tree so that was still there. My main main base is all intact. I'm very very far from mist and ash lands. I died in 3 seconds to a tick in the mistlands it was AIDS

Well, the stagger bar is based off of your absolute health at any given time. The other variable for being staggered is the RNG range applied to being struck and what type of attack from the mob if it has one. Some are 10 or 12ish percent higher with the strong attack vs. the weak attack. I used to think it was not really fair to have a moving stagger bar/stagger formula but then I played Enshrouded and it is preferable to hundreds of annoying mini staggers.

Your "Out and About" saying sounded Scottish and that is not surprising as a lot of Scottish and Irish did move over to Canada in the Early Days of settlement.

@@CrypticFoxGaming LOL, one of first ever ocean trips was on a raft, I was looking for that people referred to as a swamp and looking for one. Ended up finding one small swamp. What did not realize was it was next to a plains. Hmm what's that buzzing sound ARGH

I kind of like the slow game, not sure why, but I find it relaxing.
But there's slow TV and then there's slow TV.
During the annual elk migration one of our TV channels has a live game cam stream some of their paths. So this can literally mean they show many hours of nothing but water flowing past the cam until maybe a couple elk's walk's by....

I don't remember when oak and birch seeds were added exactly, probably close to when the creature from the swamp was added that you hadn't seen before either so twoish years.
The oak and birch seeds have been in the game the whole time IIRC. They may have increased the drop rate.
@@314159vedic I'm all but certain (99%) that the oak and birch were not included with early access. This is because I distinctly remember PlantEverything had acorns and birch seeds added and then they took them away for a time when the developers added them. Then later PlantEverything added them back into their drop configurations.

Removed config options [Saplings] BirchCost, OakCost, AncientCost.
Removed custom Birch/Oak seeds and saplings (included now in base game).
it just valheim not ashlands. you are too far away even from mistlands xD waiting for icelands
