Diez años de ilusión, de trabajo y de resultados mágicos constatados en 6 grabaciones en formato CD y DVD y 7 discos surgidos en el seno de la colección Joan Chamorro presenta protagonizados por algunos de los jóvenes talentos de la Sant Andreu Jazz Band : Andrea Motis, Eva Fernández, Magalí Datzira, Rita Payes, Marc Martín, Joan Mar Sauqué y el proyecto la magia de la voz. Más de 50 jóvenes entre 7 y 20 años han pasado por la orquesta
Han protagonizado el documental "" Sant Andreu Jazz Band. A film about kids and music "", dirigido por Ramon Tort, premiado Todo el Mundo, y ya han pisado escenarios míticos como el Palau de la Música de Barcelona, el Liceo, el Auditorio; También han tocado en festivales fuera de Cataluña (Marciac, Aix En Provance, Châteauneuf-du-Faou, Muel, Jávea, Teulada y muchos mas) y han estado acompañados de grandes del jazz como los saxofonistas Scott Hamilton, Perico Sambeat, Dick Oatts , Jesse Davis, Scott Robinson, Luigi Grasso, Joel Frahm, a los trompetistas Terell Stafford, Jon-Erik Kelsso, Ricard Gili, Josep Maria Farràs y Matthew Simon los trombonistas Wycliffe Gordon, Toni Belenguer, John Allred, los clarinetistas Bobby Gordon o Kenn Peploswky y sus colaboradores habituales Ignasi Terraza, Josep Traver y Esteve Pi

Chamarros secret to the joy of his youngsters making music is Joan himself. If you watch him you can see he is having great fun. As their teacher and mentor, his attitude is conveyed to them. Aren't they all having a grand time. Congratulations to all and thank you so much.
Hats off to Joan Chamorro. You wouldn't be hearing all this wonderful music if it weren't for him. He is the godfather of Catalan jazz.

Un thème d'une exceptionnelle beauté magnifiquement servi par ses interprètes. Quelle belle idée de l'avoir confié au cor et un immense bravo à Max Salgado qui y est fantastique. Quel dommage que Max ne fasse que de brèves apparitions au SAJB. Quant au très parkerisant Joel Frahm, il tout simplement parfait;

Jazz on a French Horn--played clean and accurately, nice and smooth. Has a reputation of being too hard for jazz. Joan's answer: Give it to a kid to play, he's never read that stuff. Treat him as a serious student--like the others--and watch what happens. Congrats to Max and to Joan. My next suggestion is to get him up to writing his own solos--but this is pretty darn good.

He oído infinidad de versiones de este tema porque me encanta la bossanova y este es uno de mis preferidos, incluso existe una de la gran Ella, pero sinceramente la introducción que tiene esta con saxos, trompetas y trombones le ponen un toque que te llega al alma nada más empezar. Max, con su interpretación, ha hecho de un instrumento aburrido para muchos y que suele pasar desapercibido en las orquestas una maravilla comparable al saxo o la trompeta. De verdad que me parece precioso, lo han bordado TODOS y cada uno de los que estaban allí. Viajo con cierta frecuencia a Barcelona y me encantaría coincidir con alguno de los festivales que organizan o por lo menos alguna actuación. Debe ser una gozada verles en directo. Enhorabuena otra vez, maestro Chamorro y un saludo desde Tenerife.
De mis mejores melodìas que me gustan de Jobim de aquellos años 60`s. Excelente el French Horn y desde luego disfrutar la mùsica como Andrea. Nuevamente maestro Chamorro muy buen trabajo y que ràpido pasa el tiempo.
