I legit laughed out loud for a minute behind Brian and Jason trying to make Erin feel better about the dog "They probably took it to the vet. It's recovered" "It's still alive today, it's 36 years old"
I loved the RLM line regarding that. "Good job, MacNamarra brothers. You succeeded in being a villain because you stabbed to death a cute, happy, fluffy dog.
My mother in law is the same way, is always bothered by dogs being hurt. I always tease her with “So, it’s ok that hundreds of human beings, including women and children, are killed graphically in your movies…. But dogs are somehow a no no?” Hehe.
The thing about the McNamara brothers, why they’re like “no public funds helped us” and why the first movie’s theme song was Fight For Your Right To Fight is they want to run full contact cagefight matches and the government won’t legalize such things.
I've recently been binge watching the older SBIG episodes and I want to say I really love the "newer" format. Sometimes I miss the old format and then I see Erin cracking herself up and realize this is way better. I do miss the skits you sometimes did though.
I'm just going to say, The McNamara bros did NOT appear to be the toughest guys in the world in this one. Simple jack and the Beast Master were rag dolling those midgets. What an escalation from the first one, though, wow! I expected it was back to back filmed also, but hey clearly put way more effort into this. Great and hilarious episode as always!
They did a kickstarter to finish the third one. They are planning on submitting it to film festivals in the fall. I was in touch with Mick and was working to get a hold of a press package, but lost touch with him.
I love that Simple Jack had a handler. This could easily be edited so that the brothers are the villains, like two creepy serial killers stalking their victims in the woods. Then hopefully someone could add a scene where they get torn apart by dogs at the end, and dedicate it to Erin. Least convincing attack dog ever.
It didn't make it into this video (or I missed it), but there's a scene in the movie where the "heroes" chase a helpless fat guy through the woods to scare him into having a heart attack, apparently because just flat-out killing him isn't cruel enough. Obviously the McNamaras were trying to come off as more edgy and badass this time around, but yeah, they often seem like straight-up villains.
Y'know, when I start to recognize the same bear from movie to movie, it occurs to me that I should prolly take a break from bad flicks. Just for a while.
The Private Army's perfect plan to play Capture the Flag had one major flaw: the fact that the McNamara Brothers have a perfect unbroken K/D Ratio in Capture the Flag. But yes, I agree, this is shot far more competently than their last one. Plus shout out to that one shot of one of the brothers running along the roof, in broad daylight, while also exposing himself against the sky.
They even used moss on their 3 ft fort as a temperature isolation material. It's obvious they meant to defend it until next spring and I am sure that they would have succeeded as well because they are McNamara twins. But since they don't do just a psychological drama (growing tension between defenders during the siege) but action packed psychological drama, they made a wise choice and moved on.
Two cut price Chuck Norris looking brothers in a movie even Cannon wouldn’t greenlight 😂😂 Hilarious reactions, this was so entertaining & just the tonic i needed after my uncles funeral.

Hey guys, Shark Week is coming up, and I thought it would be fun if the whole crew got together and watch a classic like *Shark Attack 3: Megalodon* ☺️ P.S. I would love to see if Off-Cam Pam will be back and gets her own seat.
I was gonna mention shark week too. Unfortunately most relatively recent shark movies don't fall into SBIG. It's just low-effort made-for-tv trash (with 3x the budget of SBIG gems) with a "lol quirky title" slapped on it
Great idea!! I wanted a short film but I had too many storyboards to choose from. From my own Predator story to my own Jeepers Creepers origin story. Definitely gonna be cheaper to run around in the woods hunting humans!! When it's finished I'll send you a copy.
"There's one sound file they all use..." Pretty sure I know exactly which one that is and yeah, it's basically the Wilhelm Scream of movie dog yelps😂 Just as every movie that needs an eagle screech uses that same sound clip - that is in actuality, the screech of a red-tailed hawk😅
There are way too many recycled sound effects in mainstream movies. For the budget they get, you would think they could hire someone to make new ones every once in a while.

You'll be laughing your asses off the entire time, in fact you should be laughing before the first scene, the track, playing throughout the opening credits, is hilarious!
Apparently the outdoor scenes were shot on Lake Huron’s Georgian Bay in an area of islands next to a small town called Pointe au Baril. Only a few hundred people live there year-round and up to 8000 are there in the summer. Not extremely far from Toronto, about a 3-hour drive mostly north, and the real-life twins could have a cabin or something up there.
😂 I was absolutely ready to watch more of those Karate using, Canadian twins haha. They look like little Tim the tool man Taylor’s running around…😅😂 Lol, but you could definitely tell they had more money for a better production this time.
The third movie (actually their fourth, Right to Fight being the first) was originally called "The Real Twin Dragons" but it had nothing to do with Twin Dragon Encounter and Dragon Hunt. That said it is "still coming" and has been renamed Mich. There is a teaser for it on UA-cam but it is a biopic about their issues taking their brand of kick boxing mainstream.

I know that beating a dead dog for hours seems psychotic and unjustifiable, but they had to cut a lot of stuff. In the director's cut, the scene is hours long and really puts the dog thrashing into proper perspective. Continuing to beat a long dead dog was actually the most heroic thing they could have done.

The dog has no clue that he’s supposed to be one of the bad guys, and why should he?
That’s my favorite thing to look for in these movies, “scary” dogs that are just so happy.

That’s my favorite dumb fact about them! Lmao!
It took a long time but I guess Canada finally got it's right to fight, ie UFC.
Simple Jack, beast master, and Fisto? The crossover I didn’t know I wanted but needed!
Only the McNamara's could face such evil.
These twins are hilarious, I keep hoping they will combine and assemble into Chuck Norris
