Amy Leigh Well Thanks for sharing your insight! I just thought that Rachelle has a more raw way of using maybe because of her pop background in singing and I think her voice fits a little closer with Idina Menzel. On the other hand, Eva, has a soft voice which makes a better character for Glinda, the way I heard from Kristin Chenoweth. Either way, I’d be glad to see them perform Wicked in broadway. 😊
@@jonasdimaano3923 No filipino is pure and no one is pure(im talking about our DNAs).. because we are all mix.. though rachell obviously both have filipino parents..
@@kritikasampleone7457 It's always been the excuse of so many just for them to become biracial. 😏 Once your parents are born with Filipino parents that have both Filipino parents too, then they are Pinoys. You can only include yourself in the category of biracials if you still have at least 25% of foreign blood in you. In Rachelle's case, her Dad is half Filipino, half Chinese and her Mom has Filipino Mom and Dad so technically 100% Pinoy and that makes Rachelle 75% Filipino and 25% Chinese.
Rachelle was well loved by the people from the UK and the rest of Europe. Now she is set to leave West End to pursue Broadway. Thanks people for loving our talent, she is making the Philippines proud! She had gone a long way! Hope she will be as successful in Broadway as she was in West End.
We got Eurydice and Eliza, in the same song, both trained with Lea, both broadway legends, both Filipinas, my dad is now crying, and my weave has been snatched
Eva has such a gift in bringing life to a character and making it seem like they are real people standing in front of you. It really just feels like Eponine singing her heart out in front of you. And Rachelle's voice is full of so emotion and heartbreak. These two ladies really killed it.
Both are amazing! Rachelle has honed her voice technology and deeper in rendition of her songs. Eva will go a long way. Lea started in the West End at Eva's age - 17 - when they both played Kim in Ms Saigon. Eva will bloom even more. All the best to both!
bcc bg eva will bloom even more than lea? Well, then eva should have her own Tony from her owmn musical and not from ms saigon, be a Disney princess, record an album in the US, be both Eponine and Fantine in future Lez Mis anniv, be a very respective and established superstar in her native country and so on and so forth then tell me if eva will bloooommmm ever more than lea shabu ka pa more leche ka
joseph252007 Think the poster meant Eva will bloom in her own right and have career of her own. She may have started out a bit like Lea but she’s forging a career of her own and not copying Lea nor should she.

Eva as Glinda and Rachelle as Elphaba.
What a concept.
YASSSSS
Zaldy Garlan Jr. I think Rachelle should be Glinda though because I feel she has a higher voice and is more girly

Zaldy Garlan Jr. agreed they are both fabulous singers either way
Amy Leigh what ? Rachelle have a darker tone and more raw than Eva! Eva voice is light and perfect for Glinda
a Chinese-Filipina and a Latina-Filipina. you got the common factor there which is equivalent to great voice.

Every Phillipino I know can sing
Stop comparing these women to Lea... they are they own people with their own talents. Comparing other performers does nothing and means nothing.
Kris Haynes agreed, they have Lea’s stamp of approval you would think that would be enough
Well said and correct .
