    What are YOU working on?
Tag us, Mention Us...Let us know!
    What are we doing today?
Refurbishing a Honda ATC muffler from 1985.
What are we using to complete the work?
    Harbor Freight blasting cabinet.
    High Heat Stove Paint
    Compressed Air
    Glass Cleaner
Do you have any concerns about today's work?
We'll soon find out if this muffler has any weak spots. If so, the blaster will make some holes.
Why did you decide to do this?
Refurbishing and selling older parts helps sustain our business and family, plus it hopefully helps someone work on their machine without breaking the bank.
What's your favorite thing about this work?
We hope this video helps encourage you to start or continue working on whatever project you've got sitting around. We hope you have a great day. We appreciate our subscribers and viewers. A BIG THANKS to each of you. Remember, this is something YOU CAN DO so REACH OUT with QUESTIONS and don't be afraid of starting-continuing-finishing the work your project needs.
We enjoy engaging with our 2stallgarage family. Thank you for watching today and God bless.
What would you improve, if anything?
No regrts, not even a single letter.
    Any additional thoughts?
We complete work in a small 2 stall garage with limited space. You can do anything you would like to do, no matter the space you have, just plan accordingly and adjust your plans to the size of your workspace. We Believe In YOU!
What's coming to the shop in the future?
Honda Big Red Restoration continues and our diesel Jeep breaks down again.
Are you able to do lots of work in a limited space?
Yes, without question. The biggest issues we face in our 2stallgarage is organization. Keeping the workspace organized and both stalls clear of clutter really helps with motivation, which then helps with productivity. Basically, if I see a clean workspace, I'm much more ready to dive into a project or even just scheduled maintenance like today's oil change.

Oh I'm not too sure but I didn't ever try a cabinet. I only tried the guns the gravity fed blast gun and the tub and hose gun but I didn't know you had to be so many psi. That was probably part of my problem. But I've used play sand, I tried wallnut shells, they say aluminum oxide is the best I guess idk. I might have to see if I can't get a cabinet for myself they look like they work alot better

I don’t wear a mask (cabinet exhausts to the outside) while using the cabinet. It works great with minimal mess and it recycles the media which is a big bonus.

Every time I try to use coal slag I use it for about 3 minutes then get rid of it because I never have any luck with it. Seems like it would take forever

It’s all I’ve ever used so I might not realize how slow it is. I run at about 115psi on the HF blasting cabinet and it seems to do the trick. 90psi is painfully slow.
What would you recommend for blasting media?

What kind of media did you use?

It’s a black grit from Tractor Supply Company. It last so long, I can’t even remember what it’s called now. Inexpensive and effective.
