Feeding Stray Cats: CROATIA!

We love to feed these beautiful stray cats that live in our area! Despite them living in a "feral colony," many of these cats are extremely loving and used to humans. I genuinely love to help as many cats as I can - they all deserve love and food!

These cats look well fed, not like most street cats I've seen in Croatia. And I've also seen some with genetic defects, because siblings probably mate with each other. Some people care about street cats, but I've also seen the opposite: from chasing them away to hitting them like an annoying fly.
I usually spend my holidays on the Makarska Riviera because I like it there the most, I've only been once in the northern region (in Baška). I haven't decided where it will be this year, that also depends on how easy it is to get here without a car. But thanks to your videos, Crikvenica/Selce are on my wish list.
And there should always be a nudist option nearby. 🙂

Fortunately, in our general area, we see that the strays are generally taken care of and fed by locals. (Including these cuties!) This cat colony is so lucky with this location, since it's near the end of the dead end road. It's mostly people walking in this area - low chance of getting hit by a car. And in summer, we know a LOT of people from the campground give them food. We know these cats well because they are not far from the starting point for the hike to the nearby nude beach! :-D
