His hand movement makes me wonder if he was a either a flight attendant, or a practitioner of reiki in a past career.
Dear Enwild,
could you explain please how to install and tighten those long 4 straps which are for additional stability.
I have on them red metal peace of metal which look like banana and i dont understand how to use it.
Br.
Hello Dennis, thanks for asking! If you are referring to the line tensioners on the guylines, those can be adjusted by pulling some of the line through the tensioner to create a loop. That loop can be affixed to a stake or other structure, and the tensioner can be moved along the line to make the loop larger (shortening the guyline) or smaller (lengthening the guyline). Please note that the line will require tension in order to stay in place, but once staked out will hold.
i have read in a review that the seams of the floor are not taped.
1.Is that true? Isn t that a problem for water proofness?
2. If yes, does that mean that the tent is not good in raimy conditions but more for snow? :(
Thank you for your comment today, you are correct that MSR no longer tapes their seams, however they continue to seal the seams because of the concern of longevity of seam tape. This has worked just as well for the ability when dealing with rain and other adverse weather conditions.
3+ season tent. Similar to the Marmot Fortress.
Poor video. This is not a review, it's an ad...
