Great stuff. I saw a video of someone with this tent complaining about it's performance in strong winds but it looked like he didn't have it fully guyed out especially on the windward side. Good to know too that the updated model has better venting.
random vid, enjoyed it. good showcase of the tent, I've been laboring under the assumption that tents like that will break up and fly away with you in it. seems I was wrong. no doubt if I was to investigate the price, the idea of buying one would fly away also 👍.
Good video. I have the Access 2 it’s a brilliant tent in my opinion (I’ve put a how to pitch a MSR Access tent outer-first on my own UA-cam channel. Useful for wet days). I’ve have also heard negative tales regarding condensation but have never suffered from it with my tent. In fact of the tents that I own it’s the only one I can say that about.
Just got it in orange. Obviously this is very reassuring as I bottled a windy camp in Wales a few weeks ago for its first test, going to try again looking like 30mph

Had mine at 1350 Metres in 50 km winds only with rocked out guys. No problem!

How did you make those vents?
I got the mesh from MSR and did them myself on a sewing machine. It’s a tricky job to get them right. I do everything.
