Vandermark Farms barn fire.

A barn fire incident occurred earlier today, and the Sidney Fire Department responded promptly. To effectively manage the situation, mutual aid was sought from the Anna, Lockington, and Port Jefferson volunteer fire departments.
Regrettably, four pigs perished in the unfortunate incident.
Firefighting crews remained on the scene for an extended period of four and a half hours to ensure the situation was fully addressed.
An investigation into the cause of the fire is currently underway by the Sidney Fire Department's dedicated investigation team.
