    Great job! Definitely going to subscribe. Only thing I would suggest is dialing down the output on the master to show what the effects on the master buss are contributing besides volume. Definitely sounded better to me, but I'm not sure if that's just due to the massive boost in volume.

    Another excellent program. I love EZ tools and I think they may be under rated by "serious" mixers. I use the Amps all the time. Good sound fast. I'm going to try this. You know, I know you are a metal fan. I'm a fan of the jangly clean pop guitar sound of the 60s, Petty, etc. I would love to see something similar with that tone. Also, I'm really confused on using delay and reverb and chorus to bring out that clean jangle Ricky sound. Hint hint.

    Reaper TV hi, Good vid. I am about to order EZMix2, can I do with just the basic without buying the 6 x bundle? are you using just the basic EZMix2 with no extra bundle in the video?

    • @ReapertvUk
      @ReapertvUk  7 років тому +2

      EZMix 2 ships with a ton of presets included, but most of what was done in this video was using some from expansions.
      You can see all the presets included if you scroll down here: www.toontrack.com/product/ezmix-2/
      To be honest, it's a great starting point, but if you can get a good deal with the 6 pack bundle, I would say to go for that as it will give you a load more options and you can pick packs that fit into your preferred music style. That's what I did and while I generally stick to a few preferred presets, it's good to have options to play around with as they can really help open some create possibilities you may never think of. :)

    Hy reaperTV i hope you will answer me. I use reaper about 5 months but my record sound is shit as hell... i think the problem is that my USB interface is a cheap one. • @woocifer

      ReaperTV haha it's more like I don't know what I'm doing with mixing to get the right sound scape before I master...which boosts everything, so I tend to have the mix redlining. I record heavy stuff usually and have a rough time mixing guitar tones. They don't sound good until you get the right pieces together. But there's so many combos. I feel like the people that create the EZ Mix tones should have suggestions of other tones they would use to get a fuller sound...just a previewed highlight. That way you could learn from the pairings rather than fumble around like a drunk baby.

      Hello there, complete beginner here and I have a question regarding the guitar sound of the 51-DVM preset. First off, thank you for this, it taught me a lot! As for my issue, I LOVE the sound of the 51-DVM preset, but it is WAY too muddy. How would I go about fixing that so it sounds clearer? I tried messing about with the EQ, but it would seem that the frequency I want to get higher to make it less muddy is what also brings up the hissing noise. Thankful for any help!

    • @ReapertvUk
      @ReapertvUk  7 років тому

      You can use more than one EQ on a channel. So, if you are finding that the first EQ adds in some colour you don't like, use a second instance to tame them.
      Also, instead of boosting the frequencies you want to stand out, cut the opposites (subtractive EQ) as this generally helps with mixing. Try to avoid boosting too much as it can introduce more issues than it fixes.

    hey, what's the difference between Neutron 3 and EZMix 2?

    • @michaelmos7497
      @michaelmos7497 Рік тому +1

      @ Marcello Reis: Sometimes I wonder about various questions that arise here. Why? Because you can basically google a lot of it yourself and get smart about it. Just this much: The main difference between EZ Mix 2 and Neutron 3 is that with Neutron 3 after the "automatic track analysis" you can set/adjust all parameters of the Neutron individual effects from "0 to 100" yourself. So you can configure the "starting point" according to your own taste. In a way, it would of course be an advantage if, in this subsequent step, one knew more or less where and how one had to lend a hand in order to achieve an "even better" result in terms of sound than the "starting point" template of Neutron 3 (or Neutron 4) get.
