Yeah, Uninvited always makes me smile. When I began listening to it the first time, I wasn't playing attention to the lyrics, just really vibing with it, then I started noticing the lyrics. Stopped it, went back to the beginning, this time dialing in on the lyrics and just had to laugh. It's fun, cheeky, and a nice counterbalance to some of the heavier themed songs.

Hey BP great reaction and sorry for the loss of your friend. I heard Ren say in an interview recently that he has a weird thought that the number of tracks on the album had to be an even number. So 19 tracks wouldn’t have worked and he thought 20 was too many so 18 it was. With the 3 instrumentals on the bonus album, it’s 22 so still an even number. Love your channel.

I got the download, but I got it through Music Glue off Sick Boi Album site. I pulled the trigger yesterday on the double LP vinyl, after buying all the tapes and CDs. I think I'm actually going to frame them all. I can always listen to the download. This track is wicked good! My download came with three instrumentals as well. Animal Flow, Loco, and Murderer. Great reaction Brotha. It's the singing as he raps. The flows and different cadences with the melodies are one of a kind. Bardcore if you will. I don't listen to Hip Hop on the reg, but I've been getting into it. Nova Rockefeller, Jurassic 5, Pharcyde, The Roots, Shaggy, Andre 3000 and OutKast, Wu-Tang, plus a few more. Loving a lot of it. I did buy the download ( I had already bought the CD), can't get it to play so this was my first time hearing this. I am glad to share that with you, and am so sorry to hear about your friend. Its a great song, and Ren has talked about it being the one that he sort of regretted not putting it on. He said the album was supposed to be 12 tracks, and he has a bit of an obsession with needing to have an even number, so another one, would have meant picking another to even up. I doubt it was the tone, What You Want is the one that stands out to me. But it and The Hunger were older tracks he wanted to use. I suspect it is that it has similar lyrics in places to Masochist and it came down to a choice between the two. Look after yourself.
I agreed, this song sounds so different to the rest of the album, more resembled of his old stuff since Freckled Angels like Make my way It makes me sad that ppl don’t know about that song, it’s a masterpiece I swear, you’re gonna love it P
I can't remember if he said a reason but in one of his last streams he mentioned that ultimately he had to pick between this song and "Wicked Ways" for his album. He only spontaneously released this special edition to push his sales for the last 24h so he could roll over Rick ^^

This and everything on the album is so great! I've also downloaded the album and bought a CD. I'm 77 and a huge Ren fan. Sending all good vibes for the #1 spot! Since you mentioned the push it down phrase that got to you, I wondered if you have heard "Push it Down, it Comes Out Sideways" by Travis Meadows. The idea is so much the same, although the genre is more a storytelling ballad. It's definitely not hip hop, but it is a powerful song, nonetheless. Take a listen. So sorry about your friend. Really love your ren reactions. Wish you would do a few more dimash reactions as well. That being said it’s def my favourite reaction channel. You really have a knack of knowing when is appropriate to pause and talk when to let your guest take it all in and without pushing your thoughts.
I did buy the download ( I had already bought the CD), can't get it to play so this was my first time hearing this. I am glad to share that with you, and am so sorry to hear about your friend. Its a great song, and Ren has talked about it being the one that he sort of regretted not putting it on. He said the album was supposed to be 12 tracks, and he has a bit of an obsession with needing to have an even number, so another one, would have meant picking another to even up. I doubt it was the tone, What You Want is the one that stands out to me. But it and The Hunger were older tracks he wanted to use. I suspect it is that it has similar lyrics in places to Masochist and it came down to a choice between the two. Look after yourself.

Since you mentioned the push it down phrase that got to you, I wondered if you have heard "Push it Down, it Comes Out Sideways" by Travis Meadows. The idea is so much the same, although the genre is more a storytelling ballad. It's definitely not hip hop, but it is a powerful song, nonetheless. Take a listen.

I am so sorry for your loss. That is so tough. I agree, this is one of the most fire tracks on the album. Weirdly, my download doesn't play Ren's portion of the song, so it's just the weird stuff. I'll go try it again, I guess. Either way, thank you for reacting to this song.
