Good scene but fiction. In truth there was gun battle with Shultz men and members of the commissions murder inc. Shultz died later in hospital along with his capos.
+Brian Ely The real Dutch Schultz didn't die in the restaraunt... In real life...he was found at the table ( with his head down, like in the movie) , but he was taken to the hospital and had hallucinations, and died about a day or two later.
@@beautifullymade9449 IT DEPENDS on where you get shot, if nothing vital is hit and no arteries are severed you can live and function for awhile after being shot
Dutch died a few days later in the hospital. He kept talking that didn't make sense. The police were constantly by his side trying to get any useful information.
but it is true he was shot in the washroom and walked back to his table and passed out, there's a photo of him at the table with his head down, but he didn't die right then.
True He died at the hospital next day They're 2 shooters and killed 3 of his men as well Also 1 of the shooters had to walk back by foot ( He actually shot Shultz only once near his heart with rusty bullets)
@Bill Monkey lol lucky would have sent 100 zips to Dutch's office..Lucky was THE La CosaNostra...back in them days mob families had hundreds if not thousands of foot soldiers, Dutch wouldnt have stood a chance.
@@jesus4lyfe00 no it never happened like this. There was actually a big shoot out with multiple guys being shot dead and dutch actually died in the hospital a few days later
This is the most not gangster way to die ever...the man hit a neck dab to the left down the stairs with robot arms out, sits down looks at the man that shot him, smiles, then dies.
This assasination wasnt because Dutch was a dickhead (a little bit), but it was out of jealousy of money, if you watch the movie you can see The whole La costra Nostra trying to do business with him but he refused to do it, then Bumpy came out and fought against Dutch in a turf battle for money aswell, same with Lucky for what? For money, everybody came at him because he couldnt business with him, Dutch was fine by himself, everyone was just greedy.
This movie didn’t get the recognition it deserve all actors did extremely well💯
Yes they did
Cuz its not how it really happened
@@spazdaangrymf3541 Can you explain then how it really happened???

One of the greatest death scenes in movie history. Tim Roth did such a great job with this role.
Good scene but fiction. In truth there was gun battle with Shultz men and members of the commissions murder inc. Shultz died later in hospital along with his capos.
Adam Frost oh I know, doesn’t take away from Roth’s great acting.
Stan Moroncini I agree Tim Roth did such a spectacular job as Dutch.
He did manage to walk from the bathroom where he was shot back to the table though.
He always does
hate him or love him, da way dutch got shot and came down them steps and sat at the table was GANGSTER!!
F ing RAT 🐀
Gangster AF
Lmfaooooo so true
Then how he had that snarky look in his eye before he died
Tim roth (dutch) would have been *AMAZING* on boardwalk empire..
he nailed this Character.. if he didn't win an award for this he was robbed..
This is by far the best dying scene ever
+Brian Ely The real Dutch Schultz didn't die in the restaraunt...

+MoonlitDevil_ Princess How does someone get shit like that And walk away afterwards damn does that really happen or can it.
Beautifully Made think it depends on who gets shot.

Dutch is a bad man!!!
That is exactly why Tim Roth’s character smiled before he died.

how you the one with the gun and you shook?
Goofy Kufi for two reasons
One that’s his boy
Two: He known if he fucked up Dutch was coming after him or Lucky
Shows how much fear Dutch put in him
Not how it actually happened, but a cool movie scene none the less.
but it is true he was shot in the washroom and walked back to his table and passed out, there's a photo of him at the table with his head down, but he didn't die right then.
Correct

What inspiration last words from Lulu: "HEUGH"
Dutch really thought he was gonna win against Lucky Luciano. That ended before it started.
@Bill Monkey Are you kidding me? They weren't even close in the mob hierarchy.

Lt Touchdown was a mobster
Not bad as a generic gangster movie- but a HORRIBLE slander on one of the best DA's New York ever had, Tom Dewey.
This is the most not gangster way to die ever...the man hit a neck dab to the left down the stairs with robot arms out, sits down looks at the man that shot him, smiles, then dies.
at 2:01 he doesnt move his arms they just appear in front of his face
R Hirshi lol just noticed that.
Keep pressing 2:01, it's actually funny.
Majic arms
I didn't that Michael Myers was a mobster.
Dutch Schultz just stepped out of his league

Karma's a bitch
Who takes that long to die?
Hugged up in the room
In the room where
Slaves to the prision system
Lifers
that,s something dutch shultz,s old man killied him somebody else killed him
cool scene but it didnt go down like that.
Eugene don't drink!!!!.
the movie depiction is not accurate
dutch schultz died at the hospital and there were 3 who came after him
Dutch could of at least washed his hands after he peed
After taking 2 or 3 45 slugs to the torso I don't think washing my hands would be my first priority either.
