French-Canadian Fiddle Lesson - "Reel de la bourgeoise" from Aimé Gagnon

This lovely reel from Aimé Gagnon seemed like a good chance for me to showcase a few of the really specific bowings and ornaments from Québécois fiddling. It's a somewhat tricky tune, so if you don't know it yet, take your time learning it. Then once you've learned it, try on some of the bowings I'm showing and some of the ornaments I'm explaining. The little hiccupy ornament is such a specific sound to Québécois fiddling that it might take a bit to get it just right, but I try to break it down and demonstrate it.
