    In this video we take a look at the TronXY XY-2 PRO 3D Printer. This is a budget 3D Printer that has a ton of features. I was curious as to whether the bed leveling was going to work after my poor experience with Auto Bed Leveling on other budget printers. This 3D printer did not disappoint and in this video I share my experience.

    Yes, the older models did use acrylic and they most certainly contort if moved. I just recently picked up a couple of the x2-pros. I'm interested in seeing how well they perform.

    hi my friend, can you use the direct drive extruder guide for the ender 3 in this tronxy xy-2 pro? and if I converted to direct drive can I put another z-rod/motor to prevent sagging? and for last, would you recommend to change the bed for glass?

    I been looking for a 3d printer this size or bigger . I did come up with Tronxy on the net and liked what it had and with out any revues on youtube or the net I did order one today . It was the Tronxy XY2 Pro . Now I had a chance to really to find out how good it was for the price . I paid 167.00 for mine at 3D printers Bay . I just could not pass that up at all . Now for the reinsurance of this video I made the right choice . Thanks .

    I bought an XY-2 Pro recently and I got the version with the upgraded motherboard, and it is really silent. All I hear is a soft sound from the fans, the stepper motors I can't bearly hear. It prints great, both PLA and PETG without any problem, so I'm super happy :) Btw, great review, love your channel :)

      How is the printer going mate?

    • @nathana5379
      @nathana5379 2 роки тому +1

      @@sexyfacenation its great honestly. It was OK from factory, but over the time Ive owned it, I upgraded the extruder and rewrote the gcode for the firmware to calibrate and dial it in and its been awesome since. I only upgraded the extruder (SeeMeCNC EZR which works flawlessly for me) for TPU. The stock extruder is not great for flexible filaments, kept jamming, but works great for harder plastics.

    • @sexyfacenation
      @sexyfacenation 2 роки тому +1

    I am looking to get a 3D printer in this price range ($200 - $300) and am quite intrigued by this one. But I've been doing a lot of research and also considering, a base Ender 3, and then upgrading the motherboard, drivers, extruder (to direct drive) and the display. The TronXY seems like a better deal, but how upgradeable is it? Can I replace the mainboard? Does it use Marlin for the OS? Any guidance would be appreciated.

    Just one thing… you said that you don’t like printing with PETG because of the 250 teflon tube limitation. I put Capricorn tubing in my hotends (Bowden and direct) because Capricorn states their XL TUBES (not their translucent one) can print all day at 270C so I print with PETG and some Nylons all the time now.

  • @OuchMyNeck
    @OuchMyNeck 4 роки тому +1

    Had one. It broke in 3 weeks. Printed great while it worked. And honestly it had less to do with the machine itself. It was the included SD card that failed. But failed catastrophically and took the controller board out. Found out when I plugged the card in and computer locked up and the card got so hot it burnt my finger when I took it out. Also this won't work out of the box with octoprint. There are 2 plugins to work around firmware issues.

    The problem of the CR10s Pro with Autobedleveling is 100% a firmware problem. I even upgraded to a bltouch but that didnt help eithe. I really tried everything but the solution was upgrading to marlin 2.0. Since that everything works flawless.

      This one is cheaper and in stock. You'll do the same upgrades to this as you will with the Ender 3 like upgrade the fans, the power supply and controller as well as the stepper drivers and are BL Touch for bed leveling on the Ender which this already has. You'll upgrade to a better Hot end and extruder. Pretty much rebuild the whole thing but the frame
