Goof Troop (1993) is a cheerful puzzle game based on Disney show of the same name. The gameplay is somewhat similar to NES Legend of Zelda with its maze-like map filled with one-screen rooms, except this time the emphasis on puzzles is stronger, and you can play in co-op.
In this movie the authors control two characters (Goofy and Max) simultaneously. This allows for a good deal of team work as one character can go get an item while the other heads for the exit. When there is no multi-tasking to do, the authors do a good job performing antics with one or both of the characters.
This is a nearly 4 minute improvement over Frenom's previous ( tasvideos.org/... ) movie. Improvements come from new tricks, better teamwork, luck manipulation and optimized movements.
This movie has a full Atlas Map encode ( • Goof Troop (2-Player T... ), which shows the standard encode overlaid on a zoomed out map.

This game is 29 years old...
Used to play alot with my uncle when I was young, about 6 or 7... I'm 32 now and the memories of our first time facing the last boss will be forever in my mind... We lost with no continues left after a long afternoon... One of the best days of my life!

This is the TAS gameplay I wanna see more of: chaotic, fun/funny antics. Less of the runs that rely on repetitive, visually boring strategies.

I know it's not quite the same, since they're not speed based, or not as speed focused, but look into playarounds if you haven't already! It's basically TAS's of games doing crazy silly shit that humans couldn't possibly do, while still beating the game fairly quickly!

My brothers and I always played this game since we were in elementary. 😅 Before mom/dad came to pick us up, there's a nearby arcade. And we always race to go there. Our parents know where to look if they didnt find us in school. 😅😅😅

i think altering games like that shouldn't be allowed. people should at least play the game normally without altering it like with warps or jumps. the game should be played in a normal state where things are done as it should be and not like this. i think people should re-submit with a propper game play.
