I've been wanting a chassis mounted wing for a while but still on edge. And you answered it. I use my trunk space very often for work and gear. Not a feasible option for now. Maybe several years from now when I dont use the trunk as often.
Battle Aero just developed a quick adjustment lever that's worth looking into. I haven't personally used one but I've heard good things about them.

I got mine delivered a month after ordering it and would have been sooner but covid kinda pushed back shipping cool video
it's def a sik wing maybe look at getting quick release bolts for anyone who wants to keep use of the boot where it uses a pin through the end of the bolt
I honestly didn’t know there were quick release bolts! I’ll have to look into it! Maybe install regular bolts if I take it on a road trip to prevent theft though.
So mine comes in on Wednesday!

I just put one on my FR-S. In your install, there was a mention of the bash bar being same (mounting points)as the FR-S? I’d love to slap my chassis mount on my buddy WRX just for shits.
Yes sir! I’ve confirmed that the OEM bash bar of the FRS fits the 2015+ WRX with no problems. I’m not sure if the arm length on the wing kit is different from the FRS to the WRX but it’ll definitely bolt up. I’ve been super tempted on putting the chassis mount on my FRS just to see how it looks haha
I cant believe nobody asked arguably the most important question.. is it loud on the highway? i have the sti wing with stabilizers, winglets, and gurney and at like 55+mph it is a screeching sound which is something i got over and it doesnt bother me but whenever someone sits in my backseat they always ask what that whistling sound is LMAO! Sick build bro i am absolutely inspired by it, last thing, opinion on big wang gang but stock body? i.e no fender flares and no widebody kit (YET)
Thanks for the love!! That’s a good question to be honest. I haven’t noticed any noise coming from the wing while driving, but I’ve never really tried to listen for it. I also have a side exit and EWG so if it does make a sound, it’s not as loud as those lol I think with the right build, a chassis mount wing on stock body could be sick!! I say send it if it’ll make you happy 🔥

Nope, I haven’t been pulled over or questioned once in this car. I’ve been tailed more in my mostly stock FRS.

Lowe’s lol. I don’t run them anymore. You have to build them though
do you have any rust issue?
I noticed a slight bit of rusting on the inside of the bash bar tubing where they didn’t plate it off. It wasn’t much at all but it was there. I haven’t had the chassis mount wing on the car for awhile now but it held up great for the 3 years that it was on my build.
