One thing I did to let go of perfectionism while in the process of making this video was not creating a storyboard. It ended up being one of my most frantic and unorganized productions I've had for a video so far lol I like to plan ok? Pre-production ftw! I also did a very minimal color grade, I mostly just added some contrast and shadows. No LUTs outside of a custom picture profile.
Shot on Sony ZV1
Color in Capcut

Thanks for being here :)

I ran into to your channel and I love it, your vibe, sound, the video texture! I’ll stay tuned from 🇯🇵
Hey Janie, just so you know. I really appreciate your videos.
The messages align so much with my experience. Keep going!!!
Thank you, I appreciate you saying that!
perfectionism nearly ruined my decision-making to the point where I kept procrastinating on my artwork and wasted my time over nothing.
Been there too. Just gotta push past it, I hope you start making artwork soon!
thank you so much
Glad you like them
Ah, yes. Perfectionism.
This is brilliant Janie 🦄 it’s perfect ☺️
Thanks for the kind words :)
I was the eldest kid and totally got the family saying you gotta be xyz. Parents were more chill surprisingly
But as artist we are our biggest critic lol I have a video in the backlog that talks about my perfectionism in terms of my videos, and ironically I stopped filming because I was frustrated getting some shots. Then I went on vacation and feel better lol
Taking a step back from it helps a lot and I’ve started to simplified a bit of the shots
I got frustrated filming this video too because I decided not to storyboard on principle, it was a lot lol maybe I should try stepping back too and seeing what happens
