Celebrate the little things, reaching my goals, reaching your goals, comparison, stop comparing yourself, how to be more grateful, practicing gratitude
This is so true. Same happened to me when I achieved everything I wanted.
Some call this Arrival Fallacy.
That’s why I say the journey is the most important. Just have fun then destination won’t even matter ❤
Thanks for the insight, I'm gonna have to try and remember that
I have watched all your videos and they are amazing. I was quite amazed at your subscriber count after learning your insights, and after seeing this cinematic style which I have never encountered before. Keep going! I am subscriber #792!
Thank you, that means a lot! I'm very inspired by a bunch of other creators who do this style too! Lifeofriza, Colt Kirwan, Natalie Lynn, and wholesomesimon to name a few! Thanks for the sub :)
Ah yes, the goal without enjoying the journey is useless
You gained a new subscriber! Watching this vid gives me courage to keep sharing more memories I make! Here's to reaching our goals and not being afraid to show (or share) to the world a part of us! 🎂
Hi Jop, I'm glad this video resonated with you! Totally agree with what you said!
New subscriber here. I admire your philosophy, Janie. We have so much information now. We used to compare ourselves to neighbors, but now it's the whole world. Loved the message to be grateful for your own journey. I believe we must only compare ourselves to who we used to be!
Comparing yourself to who you used to be is a great way to put it! Thanks for the sub :)
I'm your 500th hehehe
Thank you for sharing such content, just before watching this video I was thinking about how I never celebrated or appreciated anything I accomplished and always felt pressured by the idea of what to do next? and how to overcome this achievement by doing something even greater.
If I get into med school this year ,I’ll celebrate.
That's awesome! I hope you get in!
I'm your 700th subscriber🎉
Welcome!

Especially the part where you made me appreciate my achievements ✨✨
I just said I didn't cry today
You said that's so cool

new follower here 🫶
Welcome, Chris! :)
You will ask for more. And its fine. Its how humans are wired. We always want to strive for more
I just hope I don't lose myself in the numbers
Your channel is so dear to me. Lately ive been feeling this nagging disatisfaction too specially because what is so hard for me to achieve feels superficial to others who do it so easily. So you're right, the key really is celebrating each small milestone
I'm so honored you feel that way about my channel. I'm glad you can relate, I hope you celebrate something you achieved recently!
i jus found your channel, i love it so so much & i'm commenting because i'm your 930th subscriber & you reached 200 on my birthday! what a sign 🤠 keep going! i love how deeply human & yourself you are; as someone who struggles to put themselves out there in the same way, it's so comforting & validating to see. the world needs more videos like yours! 🤍
Hi Isabella, what a coincidence! happy belated birthday lol thank you for leaving such a nice comment, it really means a lot!
Hey Janie :) I can relate to that. Numerical metrics are kind of twisted and don’t say much about your value as a creator or as human being. Not to mention the potential dopamine addiction they bring along (which explains the emptiness you described). Some of my favorite videos that I created didn’t get many views. It helps me to see this whole journey as an ongoing river of ebbs and flows where everything is connected and part of my creative expression. The most important thing imo is showing ourselves that we are worth taking up space and making our individual story be heard. Because somewhere out there might be a person that will need just this one particular video of yours which will help them in a profound way. You are precious Janie ❤️ keep doing you 🌈
Wow thank you so much for this! I need to keep a lot of what you said in mind. So far, I try to just make what I want and things that I know I'll be proud of. I appreciate your insight :)
@@janieisbored and that shines through in your videos. Your unique energy 💎 this is what it’s all about… As long as we stay true to ourselves and see this as an ongoing river of ebbs and flows … this actually can be something that nourishes our heart and soul 🌱❤️ sending you lots of hugs from Germany 🫂
1:07 - the answer is no. Enjoy the journey!
Thanks, I'll try!
Well… it’s about time💆🏻♀️💗
I believe that everything that happens to you in life comes at the most perfect time for it to happen. So just continue what you are doing and enjoy what you have right now ♥️ you have a big ambitions so you will get what you want at the end or maybe even better!🫡 you are also inspiring lots of people (including me 🙄) that’s a great indication!
I’m gonna add this in my native language feel free to translate it ♥️
"الله يكتب لك كل شيء في حياتك في وقته المناسب. لا تستعجل على رزقك وخليك مرتاح وراضي"
Thanks for the support, I'm happy you are inspired by my videos! I also translated what you wrote and I think I'll put that in my journal :)
Im trying my best to be my authentic self and as a people pleaser it is really hard and I tend to run away from facing people about certain issues I have with them. Even though all of these things are real about me, I know myself and my needs and take actions according to those. Thanks to this video, now I am thankful to myself about this! ❤
I'm a people pleaser too! I'm slowly working on not caring so much and just be myself, hopefully I've made some progress. You do you!
@@janieisboredcheers to us!
just received 1M likes and average of 10k like for each videos on my tiktok but tbh its destructive to my mind, I'm refreshing the page every possible time and I am on the app for 7 hours with total of 14 hours on my phone (commenting this on my laptop btw). And also, after the excitement rush, I felt something wasn't right inside. I have developed maladaptive daydreaming, which gives a toll to my life so much. Decided that this need to change and I am on day 2 of my journey and I have been on the phone not more than 3 hours for each day except for laptop because I work using this.
For the first time, I want a boring life and I am okay if I was left out.
Hi, sorry for the late reply. Thank you for sharing your experience. It's overwhelming for sure, I used to refresh my youtube studio a lot but stopped because I also felt like it was destructive so I deleted it. I try not to look at my numbers anymore. A boring life is good, less stress.
