How about some lights or reflectors on that pull-out shelf? It's a big block of black painted steel that extends beyond the end of the vehicle.
That's a very good point. I think for the amount of time it will spend out it will be fine though.

What was making that siren in the background throughout the whole video?
Another department's vehicle was being tested in the shop next door. We tried to reduce the siren noise by isolating our video in the bay we filmed in, and using Cordell's LAV mic as the only audio recording. No need to worry, you weren't missing a pursuit right outside.

the extendobed i would love to have one for my truck looks incredably useful i wonder are they available with a flat bed to use for atvs or skidoos? the havis console is a beast swapped my stock consol out for one love it and looks great too

Sam Wagner it's a "Knox Box", that's the brand name. It's a combination lock safe for storing keys to buildings that the fire department might respond to.

Travis L reasoning behind putting the chiefs in these buggies compared to Tahoes, is because of carcinogens in turn out gear that are being stored in the occupant compartment in a Tahoe, but in the bed of an F-250 you don't have that exposure.
