i still don't understand the point of using charge in single player, just using power shot in two turns does more damage than using charge before using power shot.
Probably the only time you would use charge is when your damage is too low for an enemy’s defense, or just big number make neuron fire. There is an achievement for dealing 12 damage in one turn though.
i would only use it for linebounce, you can do SO MUCH DAMAGE with linebounce + charge. Otherwise you only would use it for defense, or something that does less than 2 dmg so its more useful using charge than using the move twice

I know another deck that I think is pretty cool. It has Slingshot, SP Drain, HP Drain, Call: Cruel King, 3 Charges, 2 Deep Focuses, 2 Charge Defs, 2 Happy HPs, 2 Happy Sps, SP Finder, Defender, and Defend+, with base stats being 20 HP, 20 SP, and 30 BP for you to be able to equip the deck.
Why would u use happy hp/sp over sp drain and hp drain? With slingshot u can still deal min 4 damage and regen 2 hp and sp every turn instead of every 3 at the small cost of 1 turn.
Oh, so the replacement for ball is extremely strong? (Me who uses a build designed to spam ball skills the entire game despite playing solo where dedicated debuff spam builds are less relevant)

Power Shot can actually exceed the 10 damage limit Slingshot has. You should be able to see it during the Greed bossfight.

The only real reason i see charge to be used is for enemies with like 4 armor since less dmg is mitigated in 2 charge Powershots than in 4 powershots
if they decide to buff cruel king summon they should make the smack into the ice sword stab

power shot is a decent-ish card, and is actually worse against non-flying enemies compared to power stab, since it does the same dmg

It does let you choose a target tho, so high hp threats that don’t die easy like Vlad in group battles are a bit easier.
