The change to apprehension is lowkey painful because it does TEN damage AND the cue to dodge it is even harder now. Like I’m not gonna even try to win them with just slingshot- (I’m also WAY too lazy to waste 10 minutes to do one attempt)

The buff to floor 39 is straight up the hardest thing in the entire game, even stuff like pre-nerf Quad Statue, Quad Komodo and Pre-nerf bubonic plant weren't this absurd. The apprehension change is straight up unfair, the fact that the noise it makes is now less obvious and the thing doesn't even blink is insane for something that, it was already the hardest attack to avoid in the game, it didn't need to be buffed to be even harder. I get buffing 35 to 39 was necessary, as they were comically easy, everything pre 39 is still easy, the extra enemies really don't add much, but the triple fear floor is straight up absurd to an unfair degree, I would honestly take fighting 3 (chapter 3 final boss) at once then 3 fears at once, mostly because, while their attacks are more of a nuisance and hit harder, at least they are easier to dodge then triple apprehension, oh and they are no AoE, which Apprehension is, meaning if you have a full party, apprehension will do like 15 damage to everything, maybe more.
Honestly having multiple fears is a horrible idea, youre going to have to memorize the like two attacks it has and after that it's a snooze fest -each of them has 50-100 hp depending on party size -the shockwave takes a year and a half to finish -it summons stuff -quarter of the time it gives you the silenced debuff which disables any sp moves (just makes the fight a bigger drag)
I feel like Fear is supposed to be a dragging fight and learning how to counter that is by exploring multiple builds, and can make ppl more aware of what costs SP
And also most bosses you only memorize 3 attacks, Greed Solitude Fear all have one less attack than Hatred and that's only the charge move which drags the fight on much longer than Apprehension does, even if they had the same amount of HP..
Sentient Statues were kinda Easy, Komodo Dragons were harder cuz the cards back needed to beat them are grindy and final floors are prob impossible due to the Laser Blasts being so hard to dodge
If yall can't beat the pit, here's a tip Use The "Call: cruel king" card, actually it's really usefull and op, try to always have him alive, and if u have charge and defense, Then use them on the king, and some defense on you (this worked for me, that i did it solo with hard mode activated)

I wish there was an area where you could re play bosses (yes, I know the Guru, but MINIbosses) by themselves without having to go through the hells of the pit
I don't think 34 needed the extra guy. For the 4th level of a pit section, it's pretty tough. I think bomb guys for greed was a poor choice since you can't dodge their attacks. For level 39... *_WHY_* Total dismay is already not fun because it's 3 turns of no sp (more tolerable as solo since it's 1.5 effective turns) so dragging out the fight with more Fears just drags it on for longer. Especially since you can't just buy feel fine. But the worse part is the Apprehension buff. One of the attacks in the entire game that did not need a buff. I never even got to dodge it because my reaction speed is trash, but at least i could consistently block it once i noticed the visual cue. Now it's just, "guess ;3". I was literally playing the pit yesterday for xp and I'm so glad i did before they buffed fear. I still wish they were more creative for floor 37 and 38, but now it's fine i guess.
The only effective counter to total dismay is hot chocolate, a chapter 1 item. If you don't have it, say bye bye to your SP moves(SP moves are garbage anyways except charge and power stab)

i'm not gonna lie this is awful the linebounce nerf basically removes one of baller users main source of damage (comboing and chaining) and it just feels like they're trying to force people to use the rocket instead the triple fear fight is completely unfair unless you have someone carrying you at max or get extremely lucky, and people who are hard of hearing like me can barely hear the sound cue even when wearing headphones (i didn't even know there was a sound cue because i never heard it) and the change to the slasher and isolation fights are just stupid, they aren't even harder now it's just slightly more annoying
Glad i finished the pit before they buffed it. Like, holy *censored*. To be honest, i was surprised that the few last floors were just all three bosses in a one on one, but i think they did a "little" too much on buffing it, the fact that the yellow and sound signal for Fear's laser was removed is one of the worst ideas the devs couldn't think about.
I won this on hard mode my heart raced and my hand shook when I was fighting the fears but I had fun. I did it on the third attempt and on top of that, when I did it alone it was definitely easier that way.
I think adding the 3 normal mini bosses would be an actual level. It feels like it would make sense. 3 fears is just dumb and serves no purpose besides “difficulty” Edit: It’s actually not as bad as people make it out to be. Apprehension’s dodge cue is just to count for 3 seconds. The only actual problem for the fight is the triple Total Dismay lmao
cant wait for my less commonly used but still powerful launcher build to become the main build and get nerfed (I used something similar to this for the entirety of demo 3, 4 damage 2 splash, and when ball got nerfs ig people switched over)
3 Fears are too much, 150HP+ for a single fight, it summons stuff so there's more HP to deal with, has a move that takes forever to reach you, made the lazer much worse to dodge and on top of that, it removes the use of SP moves, so, the fight is gonna take forever if you don't have allies or items. In reality, this pit should've been all three bosses in the same pit fight and have at least one or two turkey's in this pit. Once again, this pit fails to be as sufficient as the other two, so glad I beat this shit beforehand
tip: dont panic when you have low hp. use item and use focus for heal and dodge apprehension with ghostwalker (or atleast try to block). fear doesnt have much chance to attack by using total disarmy and call for help so remove phobia like how video did and keep heal with icedagger or items. if you get low hp again : R E P E A T (also focus defeat fear on low hp for decrease amount of hell annoying apprehension lol)
fear’s attacks actually have a pattern. first it’ll be shockwaves, then apprehension + shockwaves, then call for help + total dismay. (if there’s 2 or less fears left, it’ll first call for help, and on the other turn will do total dismay).
Stress level on the pit Greed with 3 bomb people: stress level 3 Solitude with 3 mold men: stress level 7 Fear with no sound of the apprehension and have to deal with 3: stress level 90

I am fine with all these changes except for Linebounce nerf and the Apprehension buff. Linebounce is basically garbage without charge and not that worth it. As for Apprehension, it really did not need to have the cue removed, it feels unnecessary. I thought it was a bug at first but no, it was an actual buff. I honestly didn’t mind 3 Fears but Apprehension buff is where I disagree.
You should be able to revisit Greed, Solitude, and Fear with the Guru. Maybe gain some attacks like Apprehension or Pain Rain after you fight them enough.
x3 Fear is stupid, it's such a lazy change that lacks any nuance, because wow who knew that making you fight three of the same boss and having their attack timings be awkward is hard. You can literally tell by doing the floor that Fear wasn't designed around there being three of them (Nothing like a shockwave spike hitting in front of you, but it still counts as a hit). I'm certain the design team was literally frothing at the mouth in rage that they couldn't add a fourth Fear due to the ally summon. Godskin Duo is a boss similar to this, just two enemies stuffed together into the same room with attacks that don't compliment. One's fat, one's lanky, but they both hit hard and fast, so no surprise it's harder, but it's hard in an extremely uninteresting and lazy way. If you're going to stuff 3 of the same boss into the same room to be fought all at once they need to be balanced around there being 3 of them. Randomly shoving a Mold Man into 34 and giving Greed 3 Bombing Pals in 37 has arguably more nuance than Fear having double mitosis for some reason. At least x4 Statue and Komodo Dragon didn't have their attack timings changed for no reason.
Thank god... they didn't nerf my precious rocket build, I would have pretty much a heart attack if they nerfed it since it's my favorite build since then.. Nerfing linebounce and making it only the first strike have the attack buff's Is literally outrageous!!! And also, thank god I had finished the pit I think a day after I defeated hatred. (Probably a day after demo 3 was released) because buffing floor 31-39 Is just literally unfair to me... Baller build Is *no more* and I'll hope that the other build's mains stay safe because we're sure going to be obliterated by unknown soon..

Removing the green and purple theme for slasher theme sucked a lot since it sounded better than the slashers theme

i'm not gonna lie this is awful
the linebounce nerf basically removes one of baller users main source of damage (comboing and chaining) and it just feels like they're trying to force people to use the rocket instead
the triple fear fight is completely unfair unless you have someone carrying you at max or get extremely lucky, and people who are hard of hearing like me can barely hear the sound cue even when wearing headphones (i didn't even know there was a sound cue because i never heard it)
and the change to the slasher and isolation fights are just stupid, they aren't even harder now it's just slightly more annoying
Glad i finished the pit before they buffed it. Like, holy *censored*. To be honest, i was surprised that the few last floors were just all three bosses in a one on one, but i think they did a "little" too much on buffing it, the fact that the yellow and sound signal for Fear's laser was removed is one of the worst ideas the devs couldn't think about.

I won this on hard mode my heart raced and my hand shook when I was fighting the fears but I had fun. I did it on the third attempt and on top of that, when I did it alone it was definitely easier that way.

I think adding the 3 normal mini bosses would be an actual level. It feels like it would make sense. 3 fears is just dumb and serves no purpose besides “difficulty”
Edit: It’s actually not as bad as people make it out to be. Apprehension’s dodge cue is just to count for 3 seconds. The only actual problem for the fight is the triple Total Dismay lmao

@@Error-ff5rg yup, since even with just 1 fear you spend ⅔ to ¾ of the fight under dismay in a party, so now just make the fight 3× longer.

3 Fears are too much, 150HP+ for a single fight, it summons stuff so there's more HP to deal with, has a move that takes forever to reach you, made the lazer much worse to dodge and on top of that, it removes the use of SP moves, so, the fight is gonna take forever if you don't have allies or items. In reality, this pit should've been all three bosses in the same pit fight and have at least one or two turkey's in this pit. Once again, this pit fails to be as sufficient as the other two, so glad I beat this shit beforehand

nah it aint a glitch, this is a recent rebalance they did a couple hours ago
Can we call the three fears "Pillar men" or "Fear Men" because it fits so good
tip: dont panic when you have low hp. use item and use focus for heal and dodge apprehension with ghostwalker (or atleast try to block). fear doesnt have much chance to attack by using total disarmy and call for help so remove phobia like how video did and keep heal with icedagger or items. if you get low hp again : R E P E A T (also focus defeat fear on low hp for decrease amount of hell annoying apprehension lol)
fear’s attacks actually have a pattern. first it’ll be shockwaves, then apprehension + shockwaves, then call for help + total dismay. (if there’s 2 or less fears left, it’ll first call for help, and on the other turn will do total dismay).

Fear with no sound of the apprehension and have to deal with 3: stress level 90
It says I have "bought baller card" but I already checked my deck at least 10 times and I don't see it. Don't remember if I decided to discard it, but they should make it where you can buy it again at least. Literally cannot find it and I need it for this build..
what do u think is better? getting more bp and get defend+, safe guard and lucky start or just getting more hp upgrades so ice daggering heals a ton of hp i made a launcher build with only ante up, baller, launcher, 3x happy hp and i got 60 hp, 5 sp, 14 bp and i healed 12 hp from dagger

@@quagmirreal you see, hard mode is just a cheap excuse for "dificulty". because once you know how to dodge all attacks perfectly, it doesent make a difrance (besides gusto). When people want dificulty they want harder attacks, bosses that have more hp, more mechanics not just "unga bunga instedeath"

Also, while chapter 2 pre-nerf was hard, at least in solo you had the option to guard after you attack, making the higher difficulty manageable.

I am fine with all these changes except for Linebounce nerf and the Apprehension buff.
Linebounce is basically garbage without charge and not that worth it. As for Apprehension, it really did not need to have the cue removed, it feels unnecessary. I thought it was a bug at first but no, it was an actual buff. I honestly didn’t mind 3 Fears but Apprehension buff is where I disagree.
Also, that one guy with the whole intuition thing, not everyone is like you who relies on intuition too much.

You should be able to revisit Greed, Solitude, and Fear with the Guru. Maybe gain some attacks like Apprehension or Pain Rain after you fight them enough.
Tip on dodging apprehension: wait before the ball gets its highest color and space

x3 Fear is stupid, it's such a lazy change that lacks any nuance, because wow who knew that making you fight three of the same boss and having their attack timings be awkward is hard. You can literally tell by doing the floor that Fear wasn't designed around there being three of them (Nothing like a shockwave spike hitting in front of you, but it still counts as a hit). I'm certain the design team was literally frothing at the mouth in rage that they couldn't add a fourth Fear due to the ally summon.
Godskin Duo is a boss similar to this, just two enemies stuffed together into the same room with attacks that don't compliment. One's fat, one's lanky, but they both hit hard and fast, so no surprise it's harder, but it's hard in an extremely uninteresting and lazy way. If you're going to stuff 3 of the same boss into the same room to be fought all at once they need to be balanced around there being 3 of them. Randomly shoving a Mold Man into 34 and giving Greed 3 Bombing Pals in 37 has arguably more nuance than Fear having double mitosis for some reason. At least x4 Statue and Komodo Dragon didn't have their attack timings changed for no reason.
