Couple of tips 1. Don't bother with the gas. It's worthless. 2. Don't bother with diamonds. They're nigh worthless. 3. Get a scanner, and the uograde for the scanner ASAP. You pretty much won't need dowsers after you buy it. 4. Later on, you should get a drill as well. It can happen that you get a great piece of land, but most of the oil is behind a rock wall. 5. The game ends when (and if) you get 51% of the town's shares - this is the objective of the game, the reason that you make money is to take over the town. 6. The horse upgrades (speed and size) are very useful as well, and will help you avoid spillage, and get you more money much quicker. 7. While it is possible to connect many oil pockets to one oil rig, it is not recommended. It'll save you cash, sure enough, but it'll drain the oil out at the same speed, meaning (which is also why you don't need more horses if you connect more oil pockets to a rig).
Lastly, if you have at one point like... say, 45% of the shares, take a HUGE loan, the more the better, and use it on the last shares auction. You ensure your victory by doing that, because after you get >50% of the shares, you just win.
gas is not useless u can use it to make the prices for oil much greater I once made it go to 6$ by using all the Gas at once. I recommend getting the upgrade where u can sell gas and then stockpile oil and then blow it all at once when u get the prices to rise
Jack, you gotta upgrade pipes WAY sooner than you are. Like mid August when you got lots of horses and already have your wells down in all the possible places just upgrade the larger ones to the bigger pipes or you are never going to make more than a 20k profit.
Jack, if you see your horses not moving at any given point, it means you are not getting oil fast enough. Upgrade some pies every time you see that happening.

Yeah to make a tier 2 pipe actually worth it you should either connect it all the way to an intersection or to an oil node. If you don't connect it to one of those that tier 2 pipe it will drain as much oil as a normal tier 1 pipe.
upgrade ur pipes jack. when ur branching off of one node and don't upgrade ur pipe ur essentially creating a bottle neck which slows down the oil flow..which means less oil..sp upgrade pipes!

Jack the stock auction is the auction of being the mayor to win the game. you need to have the most share % to win the game. Once you click start the arrow starts to spin and the price goes down for example you had 52,000 as the middle number and it keeps going down from that number (it shows the price you want to bid at). once you click start and all that starts to happen in the same place the start button was it would be replaced to a "buy" button you click that when the middle number turns into the price you want to bid at for example your starting price was 52,000 and you click buy when the number goes to 8,000 btw 8,000-10,000 is a good price to bid at. also where the 3 competitors and your face place around that wheel is how much money you have compared to the others competitors and how much your bid range is without getting a loan. You made a single pipe that branches off into multiple wells, which means even though the top pipe is at full capacity, the wells are being drained at 1/2 speed. You can solve this by making the top pipe thicker.

You get a bonus if you drain all the oil on the map. Upgrade the lines to drain them faster. If you have two lines going into one you need to upgrade that one line otherwise it bottlenecks and slows down the extraction. If it's a big patch of oil don't hesitate to try and drain it fast. It ends up being worth it. Also diamonds sell for $2K so it's worth to grab with a mole if you stumble on one but don't waste time looking for them.

*PLEASE LET JACK SEE THIS* ok jack, here we go. don't buy so many wagons, only buy as many as you need because the little money your saving will keep adding up. if you think you've found a big oil node/spot use some pipe to look around it to see its size, if you think its big then upgrade the pipes so you can drain the whole thing out by the end of the season. don't always go to daphne's, did you even look how expensive those "i'm gonna keep the price up to at least 80 cents this season!"? you were spending a whole lot of money on those that looked like weren't worth the $3000 you spent on each of them, 3 seasons of not buyin from daphne's could afford you to get any upgrade you want! oh and don't worry about the competition, as long as you're down in money because you're buying upgrades, not because you're wasting all your money on daphne's. the game doesn't end until you finish off the tundra and the plains. so if you have a lot of upgrades by then with little money, you can make a hell of a lot of money in those 2 places. so what if blanch has a bunch of money, she must not have many upgrades. and never ever bid on a plot of land more than twice. spilling won't happen unless you upgrade your pipes a lot, your horses can usually handle it, and again don't buy soo many horses. and its pronounced dowzerz, not dowsirs. and don't really bother with gas because its very hard to comprehend, but if you can learn how to use it effectively its very good. that's all i can really say for now. *PLEASE LET JACK SEE THIS*

Jack! You have a lot of horses so upgrade your pipes because you kost likely wont spill. Also, the drill investment is very worth it and if you are in a tight spot with transporting oil, I reccomend getting the horse size upgrade. Most investments are worth it, really.

Jack why do you buy both deals for minimum price at the incs? Decide which to buy and buy only that because you will sell only for that. For example, in the video you bought both 0.73$ deal and 0.98$ deal but you sell only to the 0.98$ minimum so why wasting more money on the 0.73$ deal?.. Its pointless.
Jack, upgrade only one company, what's the point of upgrading 2? you're just waisting money. Go for the higher deal, even if it costs more Example: Right Ink: Never Below 0.80 cost 2000 Left Ink: Never Below 0.90 cost 3000
If u see a oil deposit and the oil in it is draining slow that means the pocket is big and u should increase the pipe size to get it quicker, also u can get bonuses such as $1000 for draining all the oil in the land $1000 for ending a month early and so on.
The key Jack is that you always want to send at least one of your horses to sell oil. If you're not making money then you can't progress further during the oil thing.

The stock auction is for who will be the new mayor but don't worry about that,you need 50% stocks to be the new mayor Also for the stock auction for 2% share the bots bid around 7-8 K For 3% share they bid around 10-11 K And for 4% share they bid around 13-15 K As you progress there will be bigger shares like 6%,so my advice is don't spend alot of money for the low shares early on Also,when you upgrade pipe to tier 2 in order to get the oil faster,you should upgrade the whole path otherwise it's useless if you just upgrade one thing to tier 2

buy the censor so when your guys find oil you can use it to either check where it is or to check how big it is so you can upgrade your pipes if it is big enough. upgrade your wagons so you don't have to buy a shit ton of horses.
if the node is huge your best bet is to upgrade your pipes so you get it out faster. if prices are to low when you upgrade pipes just store your oil until they go up. you get bonuses at the end of each season for drilling all oil and selling all oil.
also you can use the gas and connect it to either Inc and it Jacks the prices up for a period of time depending on how much gas is in the node. but note that you can't go through your oil pipes for a gas node you'd have to go around it. unless you suck all the oil out of the ground and store it, close you oil rig and connect the Inc's to the oil pipes and than the gas node.. Seems confusing but you'll get it once you play a little more

jack the moles are not quite as useless as people told you. true they won't find you oil, however in the next section you will be getting gas which if you pump into the right or left inc drives up prices for a short time. to get them to find gas you must get the diamond upgrade
you should also get jack when its available the line to left and right inc so you can drive up price. using the gas i can make almost 3 dollars a barrel. meaning in a if done right you can make 60k off a 40 plot.
aqw alhadary i punp gas to both right and left inc all the time and often get 40 - 60k in one level, so the cost is worth it if you can afford it. its not that hard to get it there just branch it off a pipe thats already near there and connect it. also you can dig though rocks to get to the inc, you have to use a oil rig to drill it so if you have the upgrade on the rig you will be able to
Hey Jack. For the bidding, I always value every 1% at $3,000 as a rule of thumb since it's in that range that others start buying. So I end up buying 1% at $5-8k. If it's 3% then I value it at $9,000 and so I buy it at $10-13k. But that has helped me. Maybe you'll find better tips in the comments since it isn't fool proof. :). P.S Also, you become Mayor when you own 50% shares. Game doesn't tell you until later on =p
i feel like he has wayyyy to many horses pulling from so few rigs, the rigs after all can only pull out so much at a time, and upgrade dowser depth and pipe width.

*PLEASE LET JACK SEE THIS* ok jack, here we go. don't buy so many wagons, only buy as many as you need because the little money your saving will keep adding up. if you think you've found a big oil node/spot use some pipe to look around it to see its size, if you think its big then upgrade the pipes so you can drain the whole thing out by the end of the season. don't always go to daphne's, did you even look how expensive those "i'm gonna keep the price up to at least 80 cents this season!"? you were spending a whole lot of money on those that looked like weren't worth the $3000 you spent on each of them, 3 seasons of not buyin from daphne's could afford you to get any upgrade you want! oh and don't worry about the competition, as long as you're down in money because you're buying upgrades, not because you're wasting all your money on daphne's. the game doesn't end until you finish off the tundra and the plains. so if you have a lot of upgrades by then with little money, you can make a hell of a lot of money in those 2 places. so what if blanch has a bunch of money, she must not have many upgrades. and never ever bid on a plot of land more than twice. spilling won't happen unless you upgrade your pipes a lot, your horses can usually handle it, and again don't buy soo many horses. and its pronounced dowzerz, not dowsirs. and don't really bother with gas because its very hard to comprehend, but if you can learn how to use it effectively its very good. that's all i can really say for now. *PLEASE LET JACK SEE THIS*

jack like in this video u had a lot of oil left so there is 2 things u could do 1 upgrade pipes or 2 put more oil rigs to one spot. Also do the stochs so that they would spent more for each one because they have more money

Jack! You have a lot of horses so upgrade your pipes because you kost likely wont spill. Also, the drill investment is very worth it and if you are in a tight spot with transporting oil, I reccomend getting the horse size upgrade. Most investments are worth it, really.
Also, try hard to get ALL of the oil because you get a bonus.

If u see a oil deposit and the oil in it is draining slow that means the pocket is big and u should increase the pipe size to get it quicker, also u can get bonuses such as $1000 for draining all the oil in the land $1000 for ending a month early and so on.
ALso don't buy stuff at the baffines or watever, its a waste unless it REALLY GOOD.

The stock auction is for who will be the new mayor but don't worry about that,you need 50% stocks to be the new mayor
Also for the stock auction for 2% share the bots bid around 7-8 K
For 3% share they bid around 10-11 K
And for 4% share they bid around 13-15 K
As you progress there will be bigger shares like 6%,so my advice is don't spend alot of money for the low shares early on
Also,when you upgrade pipe to tier 2 in order to get the oil faster,you should upgrade the whole path otherwise it's useless if you just upgrade one thing to tier 2

Jack if you want to pump all the oil you need to upgrade your pipe size,you have enough horses not to get spillage !
buy the censor so when your guys find oil you can use it to either check where it is or to check how big it is so you can upgrade your pipes if it is big enough. upgrade your wagons so you don't have to buy a shit ton of horses.
if the node is huge your best bet is to upgrade your pipes so you get it out faster. if prices are to low when you upgrade pipes just store your oil until they go up. you get bonuses at the end of each season for drilling all oil and selling all oil.
also you can use the gas and connect it to either Inc and it Jacks the prices up for a period of time depending on how much gas is in the node. but note that you can't go through your oil pipes for a gas node you'd have to go around it. unless you suck all the oil out of the ground and store it, close you oil rig and connect the Inc's to the oil pipes and than the gas node.. Seems confusing but you'll get it once you play a little more

jack the moles are not quite as useless as people told you. true they won't find you oil, however in the next section you will be getting gas which if you pump into the right or left inc drives up prices for a short time. to get them to find gas you must get the diamond upgrade
you should also get jack when its available the line to left and right inc so you can drive up price. using the gas i can make almost 3 dollars a barrel. meaning in a if done right you can make 60k off a 40 plot.

aqw alhadary i punp gas to both right and left inc all the time and often get 40 - 60k in one level, so the cost is worth it if you can afford it. its not that hard to get it there just branch it off a pipe thats already near there and connect it. also you can dig though rocks to get to the inc, you have to use a oil rig to drill it so if you have the upgrade on the rig you will be able to
Hey Jack. For the bidding, I always value every 1% at $3,000 as a rule of thumb since it's in that range that others start buying. So I end up buying 1% at $5-8k. If it's 3% then I value it at $9,000 and so I buy it at $10-13k. But that has helped me. Maybe you'll find better tips in the comments since it isn't fool proof. :).
P.S Also, you become Mayor when you own 50% shares. Game doesn't tell you until later on =p

Jack if you have 2 pipes split off one the you have to upgrade the primary pipe so they can both work at maximum efficiency
Also the black in the pipes not being full means it not at peak efficiency
