One of my favorites was in Destiny 1. The map designers forgot to put a floor in a specific area on the moon, so you could glide over and walk right off the map. They didn't fix it for Destiny 2 either, which is hilarious.
In one of the Borderlands games, there's a building with a large conveyor belt on it, and a door at one end that opens and closes. It's by far the most noticeable object in the scene... and it has the checkerboard Unreal Engine default texture because they forgot to apply one.
At least the Unreal Engine 4 editor is much less buggy, and doesn't take forever to 'Build All', like UE 3 did. Especially since I modded UT3 to have the Invasion gametype, I had to add hundreds of path node navigation points to the maps for the monsters to spawn on, and it would either take 10 minutes or crash my machine. The new engine is much more efficient on resources than the last one.
The guy that prays to the atomic bomb in Fallout 3 is standing in a puddle that gives one rad a second. I know only the pc gains rads, but they really should have hid that better.
or the fact that every NPC wanders from city to city with no next to no weapon, and somehow its cool. But when i wander around it don't take 3 sec before im in a fight with gouls, raiders, mutants or wathever..
Although they're different games in the series set in very different areas, the Children of Atom in Fallout 4 are stated and shown to be completely immune to radiation.
That is because that guy is a member of the Children of Atom, and as mentioned in other Fallout titles these guys generally have a natural immunity towards radiation :)
0:46. It's actually kinda surprising that they use the same characters. Bruh we use the same characters as Finnish people but the words are not the same.
Guessing fans who go to the stadium often enough to recognise that it's wrong. It's not easy to change inn game though, because you've got to redo all the lighting and shadows
There's actually an interesting explanation for number 7. In Pocket Monsters Blue, the updated version of Red and Green, the trade on Cinnabar Island doesn't require a Raichu, but a Kadabra. The man comments in Blue's Japanese script about how the Kadabra you traded him evolved after the trade, which tells the player that Kadabra evolves through trading. In the international Red and Blue, you trade the man a Raichu instead of a Kadabra because the game's encounter data and in-game trade data was taken from Pocket Monsters Red and Green, where you also trade the man a Raichu, but his line wasn't adjusted to account for Raichu having no evolution, hence the error.
Ravus Nox Fleuret I don't. If it does them the dumb CoD kiddies will start spreading to other multiplayer games like a plague. The CoD franchise keeps those idiots in a nice little jail.
Okay so, people care about the sun's placement in an NFL game, but nobody cares that every fucking game ever gets the moon's position and cycles wrong? Edit #2: "An NFL game" I find it easier to say aloud, I don't care if it's correct.
Reminds me of Subnautica. The sun rises and sets, but the partnered planet (or REALLY close moon maybe) just rotates Around the horizon (and quite quickly I would add.) I kept staring at it thinking "what direction am I looking?" (in the dark) then remembering, "oh wait, I can't use that Giant neighboring planet as a reference because the developers seem to be flat-earthers that think that orbiting is like spinning on a flat top!" That's not how it works guys! :-P It wouldn't have usually been a thing that I would pay attention to except for how huge the planet (or really close moon) is and how visibly fast it orbits.
Actually it is correct to say "an NFL game". An is used before words that start with vowels or start with a vowel sound. "NFL" starts with a soft "e" sound.
The kingdom hearts one isn't actually that much of a mistake, those are just they're real names, Xigbar=Braig, Lexaeus=Aeleus and Xaldin=Dilan they're just spelled in japanese.
Masterz Of Madnezz wrong, Xehenort had an Obsession with X refering to the X-blade. every organisation member has an x added to their normal name when they nobodies
The fake eye kinda just falls out. Leon doesn't rip it straight out. The shot you used when you said the eye is still there is right before they die and the eye slides out. That's why Leon picks it up. Other than seeing the door with the eye scanner before the boss fight being a giant clue for Leon to pick it up
I was just looking for this comment to see if someone mentioned because he said the corpse still has the eye and showed that shot of the enemy falling and i was like, Well yeah, he falls and then it rolls out onto the floor. And he keeps it because is used to open an area that requires his eye to be scanned :)
Isn't the real error with his fake eye being that it's the wrong one for the scanner? Or was that just a thing with stuff being switched around in one port of the game?
Actually Xaldin and Lexaeus' names ARE really Dilan and Aeleus. They get new names when they join Orginization XIII. HOWEVER. There is still an error in Xigbar's true name, his real name is NOT Blaig it's Braig. Still a mistake, but it is you were mistaken about the game being mistaken gameranx.

Leon Delamayer no. The Nobodies aren't the real people. So it's still wrong lol the people that died and became Heartless were those names. The Nobodies were not. Roxas isn't truly Sora, just a part of him that thinks for himself.
The Pokemon one is probably referring to how Raichu was originally going to evolve into a Pokemon called Gorochu, but they changed their minds and probably forgot to take that text out.
As you're going into World of Warcraft, you're leveling as the world evolves and changes around you, when you hit level 80 in the world you are now to you Deathwing is still alive, It'd be very sad if Garrosh died and Borean Tundra side for Horde was completely abolished, and others of course.
not to mention expecting continuity in World of Warcraft is kind of pointless considering you kill the same raid/dungeon bosses dozens/hundreds of times.........
my favorite error inside of the game is in Final Fantasy 10 where Titus wakes up at Kilika island after being attacked by sin in chapter 3, when he goes down stairs a kid is running in circles with his blitzball and he says I want to be a Blitzball when I grow up, not I want to be able to blitzball player when I grow up. I always found this hilarious for some reason
The funny part is that it wasn't a translation error. The translation of his line was totally correct. In the original Japanese version of FF10, he still said "When I grow up, I’m gonna be a blitzball!". The Japanese HD version does have it fixed though and he says "blitzball player". legendsoflocalization.com/qa-is-the-blitzball-kid-in-final-fantasy-x-really-this-dumb/
The WoW's one is due to time line. When you create a character, it is like your level means how much you have lived of the current expansion. And to make it more clear, the area outside Orgrimmar had lv 90 mobs when you were doing the pre raid quests and events. But if you make a new character and go walking around there, you wouldn't see them. That is not a mistake, whomever submitted that didn't pay attention at all. Btw, this happens A LOT on wow, it is called 'zoning' or at least it was while I was playing. The real problem is: when the new expansion kicked in, you already had the area where you would find Varian's monument and even had the name for it, symbolizing his death.
Marcelo Yuri the same thing happened on the Horde side. I hadn't even bought Legion at the time, but it was as if Vol'jin had already died, yet he's still in my Garrisson. Marrad is still in various places even efter dying in Draenor. Plus I thought it was hilarious that you could visit 3 different Dalarans in 3 different zones depending on your progress.
wel WotLK was actually the best selling and most played expansion of WoW and was the one that brought phasing to the table...so i actually don't know what you're taling about
Falcon did play the game, the dude made a 9 minute long video crying like a baby because of the controllers... So yeah since he didn't like the game, he isn't going to remember that and I don't know if he even finished it

Oh gods. If EA can't fix something simple, like where the sun is in the sky for a game, then Mass Effect: Andromeda's facial expressions have no hope... Also, Dilin is totally a good evil name. Dilin the Villain :D
#8 my wife is an animator/digital compositer and I asked her how much work changing a light source would be for a digital animation and what she said (basically) was that even if you could change where the sun was located in the game, the shadows, light texture on the players/fans/stadium, and general lighting effects wouldn't match up with the angle of the sun. It would be a massive amount of work to re-do, so it wouldn't be worth it.
i think they used it just for the facial experssion, its kind of harrd to tell that its from onepiece as it seems to have been heavily edited, they probably just randomly found the pic looking for a surprized face
dunno why wow in on this list with the garrosh thing. They kept him as a quest giver so it would feel like you're moving along the story while leveling up.
Andrei, it's lucky that it made him rich, because he's never going to be able to work in the industry again after that. He's done and his studio is done. Their reputation is forever tarnished because he just could. not. tell. the. fucking. truth.
And if you think the story is complicated, that says to me that you skipped Birth by Sleep, Chain of Memories, 358/2 Days, Re:Coded, Dream Drop Distance and 0.2. I played every game and the story makes perfect sense
I madden 17 or 18 they announce the chargers as if they still play in San Diego when they clearly moved to LA lol. “It’s a beautiful day of football here in San Diego, California” when it says “LA CHARGERS” in the stands
I dont get the kingdom hearts one, like were is this missprint? also the names that were mentioned were thier original names before nobodys, for exmple of "eveil" name axel changes into lea, saix into isa, and xaldin into dilan. i know the game is confusing but just a simple understanding of what happens in the normal games ( not the final mixes and all that ) you should already know this. Im not sure if it was a mistake cause I dint get to see anything revealing this, and ive played the game to the point of it being a buggy mess and i havent seen these errors anywere
To me that looks just like they took their Japanese names and transferred them to English without adapting the spelling. Still not sure what they mean by misprint because in the games, their names were spelled right.
Yeah I don't know where it's supposed to be that the names are misspelled cos I've never noticed that in any of my playthroughs. Maybe the manual? I'd have to check. And it sounds like Falcon didn't realise the names are anagrams anyway, so like yeah his name actually was Dilan, even though wherever it was he's referring too it's spelled as Dilin. So still a mistake but Dilan misspelled as Dilin isn't as bad as Xaldin misspelled as Dilin which is what he was implying
How did that thing with World of Warcraft get the top spot? It's not a glitch, bug, mistake, or anything like that. It's a product of an MMO that's been going for over a decade with multiple expansions spanning stories over the course of a few years. They remade the original leveling zones in Cataclysm in order to improve them, and tie them into Cata's story. Redoing them again already wouldn't work well. It does mean there's some weirdness with the story starting from scratch, especially on the Horde side (where the Warchief has changed multiple times, and Garrosh and Thrall are too important to the story of earlier expansions to remove them), but given that they've pretty solidly introduced a lore reason for time traveling shenanigans and they know the situation and decided to do it anyway, it doesn't fit on this list. You can criticize it if you want, that's fair. But it's not a mistake. It's how they decided to write it. The shifting story of the Eredar, that's a mistake. And the portal to Dalaran that you find in Darnassus in 5.1 that leads to a civilian slaughter is either a mistake or someone in-game planted false evidence to create an incident. I'm sure I could think of others. This was not a mistake, though.
That Kingdom Hearts mistake isn't actually a mistake. Those are the names of the characters before they joined they just add an X when they become members. Braig->(X)igbar
When it comes to day night cycles, like in that madden game for example, changing where the sun is can have massive effects. Firstly if the game doesn't use dynamic lighting, which many sports games dont, it could mean a mass rehull on the shadows to make it look realistic. Typically for sports games shadows are always casted in one direction, since the light source is almost always static. This means they don't need to have a shadow in response to a light source, just skybox that makes you think a light source is there, and then a static shadow that will always point one way. When you think about only the players it's really not an issue, but the amount of lighting detail that occurs in the background, on the stadium and on the fans is insane. So insane in fact they would pretty much have to either remake the game in an engine that supports dynamic lighting without console lag, remake the entire map for all times of day and hope no other maps have issue, or do nothing because it doesn't matter because new game in one year
the Garrosh one wasn't really a mistake it all takes place in different times . So when your character reaches the lv to do those quests he's still alive in game then once you're past that then he's back in time then dead
That Kingdom Hearts 2 mistake... was that in the 2.5 Remix? If so, it's only partially a mistake; it's their real names, before they joined the Org. XIII, when they weren't Nobodies, albeit misspelled... But... If it IS telling their real names in the KH2 portion of 2.5 Remix, that is still a big error, and doubly so with the misspelling...
Kyzoren D. Tirrem I recall seeing their real names spelled right being mentioned in some kind of report, I believe an Ansem report in Kingdom Hearts 2: Final Mix.
well actually the kh2 error has more story behind it as an organisation is a Nobody right? and they get their names when they had an 'x' added into their original name then rearranged. so xigbar was called braig, xaldin was called dilan (not sure about leaxeus tho) anws kinda glad u showed some love to kingdom hearts, hope u can cover 2.8 for them newcomers to the series someday
Digz its a mistake of a mistake the video says they are bleig dilin and eleus and then proceeds to mock the names despite the fact the real ones are dilian braig and aeleus
First of all, as somebody who has played the shit out of that game, I can assure you those "Misspelled names" are not actually in the game. Anywhere. At all. The only place it could be is in the manual, which I haven't read. However, the names are not "incorrect" anyway. Just not properly translated, as they are using the japanese pronunciation.
Mikhail Malik that face (apparently) was in the original game, but it has a random chance of appearing. I remember having that face show up when I played AC2.
Something pretty ironic, and funny, was as I clicked on this video, a UA-cam ad came up. And the Ad was: 'WeMod - The Easiest way to cheat in Pc games'. I think it's just an ad for something similar to the old school cheat code books we'd buy in gamestop or walmart, but the thought of watching a gamranx video, where often times they describe what happened to cheaters with hilarious relish, and seeing this ad, was too ironic not to mention. I love it, gamranx, keep up the good work on these videos, great editing and game discussion. I love it!

EndR60 ??? I'm 30 but none the less it's still a mistake... you must be a young'n to believe that you have to play new console games in order to be the "cool" guy
I actually found out about this after my original comment so I admit my mistake, however in the Japanese version he doesn’t ask for a raichu. He asked for one of the Pokémon who evolved through trade.
@@matthewfitzpatrick2225 it was before they planed pichu the prevolution for pikachu so it would be like "Pikachu - Raichu and smt else" but they changed it after they planned pichu, so technicly not a game mistake
It's 100% a translation thing. It's nothing to do with Gorochu. In the original version you trade him a trade evo pokemon, *haunter?* and he has that line. They changed the trade but kept the dialog.

Fry'sAcidTest I wouldn't be surprised if it's just an Easter egg.
It isn't.... Before starting the conveyor belt the texture is all black but as soon as you start it, it switch to pink and white checkerboard.
that pops up in different places. Thankfully it's usually ammo and stuff, but I recall an entire wall texture being checkerboard
The guy that prays to the atomic bomb in Fallout 3 is standing in a puddle that gives one rad a second. I know only the pc gains rads, but they really should have hid that better.
Malkav The Mad yeah, I always wondered "is he going to die soon?"
or the fact that every NPC wanders from city to city with no next to no weapon, and somehow its cool. But when i wander around it don't take 3 sec before im in a fight with gouls, raiders, mutants or wathever..
Malkav The Mad There's a reason he prays to it.
Ride to hell : Retribution is a mistake itself

FOFANA Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing was a far bigger mistake than that game.

hahahaha "I FEEL ASLEEP!!" I wouldn't be surprised if once a guard died, he exclaimed "I FEEL DEAD!!"
Why would anyone care if there's a sun in the wrong position, in a football game?
Thomas Foreman I thought games like that were top down. So you can't even see the sun. Maybe I'm wrong though.
Because it takes a special kind to pretend to play a sport than to actually play the sport
Who even actually plays football games even more
Guessing fans who go to the stadium often enough to recognise that it's wrong.

In the international Red and Blue, you trade the man a Raichu instead of a Kadabra because the game's encounter data and in-game trade data was taken from Pocket Monsters Red and Green, where you also trade the man a Raichu, but his line wasn't adjusted to account for Raichu having no evolution, hence the error.
is it me or do we want a boots on the ground call of duty
AWSOME ALLEN nah I just want mw2
A I want it remastered
I want the series to die already :/
Ravus Nox Fleuret I don't. If it does them the dumb CoD kiddies will start spreading to other multiplayer games like a plague. The CoD franchise keeps those idiots in a nice little jail.
I want just the zombie mode by itself as its own expanded upon game. Everything else in the series is trash imo.
Okay so, people care about the sun's placement in an NFL game, but nobody cares that every fucking game ever gets the moon's position and cycles wrong?
Edit #2: "An NFL game" I find it easier to say aloud, I don't care if it's correct.
Fumwum yes
Reminds me of Subnautica. The sun rises and sets, but the partnered planet (or REALLY close moon maybe) just rotates Around the horizon (and quite quickly I would add.) I kept staring at it thinking "what direction am I looking?" (in the dark) then remembering, "oh wait, I can't use that Giant neighboring planet as a reference because the developers seem to be flat-earthers that think that orbiting is like spinning on a flat top!" That's not how it works guys! :-P
It wouldn't have usually been a thing that I would pay attention to except for how huge the planet (or really close moon) is and how visibly fast it orbits.
JetStream90 they probably just don't have the time or power to create a better skybox. The developers are a small company
You need another edit. It's "_a_ NFL game".
Actually it is correct to say "an NFL game". An is used before words that start with vowels or start with a vowel sound. "NFL" starts with a soft "e" sound.
Gta4 invisible tree at the airport I'm sure everyone's hit it with their car
The kingdom hearts one isn't actually that much of a mistake, those are just they're real names, Xigbar=Braig, Lexaeus=Aeleus and Xaldin=Dilan they're just spelled in japanese.
yes you are so right. i was thinking that when he said that. and the pokemon red blue and yellow "mistake" was a translation error as well
Masterz Of Madnezz At least it still counts as a mistake. Imagine if it weren't.
Masterz Of Madnezz wrong,
Xehenort had an Obsession with X refering to the X-blade. every organisation member has an x added to their normal name when they nobodies
Interesting to note that each of their names is just an anagram of their real names but with an added "X".

The fake eye kinda just falls out. Leon doesn't rip it straight out. The shot you used when you said the eye is still there is right before they die and the eye slides out. That's why Leon picks it up. Other than seeing the door with the eye scanner before the boss fight being a giant clue for Leon to pick it up
rosenrot234 yeah, was thinking about that too.
Like, I distinctly remember that n o t being an error.
I was just looking for this comment to see if someone mentioned because he said the corpse still has the eye and showed that shot of the enemy falling and i was like, Well yeah, he falls and then it rolls out onto the floor. And he keeps it because is used to open an area that requires his eye to be scanned :)
full jebaited content dogshit tho
Isn't the real error with his fake eye being that it's the wrong one for the scanner? Or was that just a thing with stuff being switched around in one port of the game?

Actually Xaldin and Lexaeus' names ARE really Dilan and Aeleus. They get new names when they join Orginization XIII.
HOWEVER. There is still an error in Xigbar's true name, his real name is NOT Blaig it's Braig. Still a mistake, but it is you were mistaken about the game being mistaken gameranx.
Leon Delamayer It looks like a japanese traduction before adaptation which is not an error since "r" = "l" in japanese
Snow'White was about to make a joke about them making the old switcheroo with R and L.
For example, the Amelicans wirr nevel stop oul nucreal ploof Shindu gates made flom chelly brossoms!
Leon Delamayer that was some mistakeception
I think the problem was just that the one who put the names there did not confirm the proper spelling when translating
Leon Delamayer no. The Nobodies aren't the real people. So it's still wrong lol the people that died and became Heartless were those names. The Nobodies were not. Roxas isn't truly Sora, just a part of him that thinks for himself.
Infinite warfare... that was a BIG mistake, i think the deva just went "I FEEL ASLEEP" and made the game while taking a nap.
vocy td yeah right,go back and play BF1.No one gives a shit about what you say
did you atleast played the game? at all?
Like the previous games were made with shit tons of imagination.

I like most cods but not infinite warfare, problem?

I always found this hilarious for some reason
john gilchrist Maybe he wants to be a blitz ball...everyone has dreams
john gilchrist Well, can you imagine a human blitzball?
Well he is a kid, that actually makes sense for kids to talk like that.
The funny part is that it wasn't a translation error. The translation of his line was totally correct. In the original Japanese version of FF10, he still said "When I grow up, I’m gonna be a blitzball!". The Japanese HD version does have it fixed though and he says "blitzball player".

In RE4, you get the eye after you defeat him.. that’s what I remember at least.
He still has his eye though, if you use a free cam mod or something you can look at his face when he's dead, eye is still there.
But... A mage can teleport me to Pandaria... Are they time travelers?
pretty much this, yes, phasing is a thing so you can say you're a time traveler until you get to the "real" timeline
wel WotLK was actually the best selling and most played expansion of WoW and was the one that brought phasing to the table...so i actually don't know what you're taling about
Yet, people are still playing the game. Even after WoTLK. So whats the point of this argument ?
The RE4 one is wrong! The clip that you showed where he still has the eye is before Leon takes it. Have you even played the game?
Ikr, Same thing i thought. Kinda ironic seeing that the theme of the video is gamers noticing fuck-ups. lol smh.
Falcon did play the game, the dude made a 9 minute long video crying like a baby because of the controllers... So yeah since he didn't like the game, he isn't going to remember that and I don't know if he even finished it
I was thinking the exact same thing but I wasnt sure
Yeah, he dies and then Leon takes the eye, not the other way around.

It would be a massive amount of work to re-do, so it wouldn't be worth it.
why did you use a picture from One Piece for the thumbnail?
Brian Suter Yeh it looks like Perona
Brian Suter its enel
Brian Suter no, it's perona with some... strange coloring...
i think they used it just for the facial experssion, its kind of harrd to tell that its from onepiece as it seems to have been heavily edited, they probably just randomly found the pic looking for a surprized face

It's not a mistake in Kingdom Hearts. The "missprinted names" are their real names when they were complete people
And if you think the story is complicated, that says to me that you skipped Birth by Sleep, Chain of Memories, 358/2 Days, Re:Coded, Dream Drop Distance and 0.2. I played every game and the story makes perfect sense
Late but the real names are the letters of their organization names in a different arrangement an without the X. Axel becomes Lea
But it makes no sense why they'd print those names. It's basically a spoiler for bbs.
@ in the video he didnt said its complicated he said its an convoluted error which i think is an insult to the amazing story of the game.
Exactly, that's the misprint. Xaldin is Dilan, not Dilin. Aelus not Eleus, and Braig not Bleig.
Oooohhhh i see know, XD thanks for pointing that out
To me that looks just like they took their Japanese names and transferred them to English without adapting the spelling.
So still a mistake but Dilan misspelled as Dilin isn't as bad as Xaldin misspelled as Dilin which is what he was implying
jyashin I think they just changed the spelling a little for English pronunciation purposes but I think it was unnecessary.
This was not a mistake, though.
thank you!
I've seen an EA mistake! It's this: EA itself...

Jacob Burns yes
Jacob Burns But they are still misspelled. It's a mistake for a different reason.
Did you even play the game? Those names in the video were spelled incorrectly from their actual names.
MrGhost370 triggered. And idk if you played it but kingdom hearts is not geared towards kids.
So insane in fact they would pretty much have to either remake the game in an engine that supports dynamic lighting without console lag, remake the entire map for all times of day and hope no other maps have issue, or do nothing because it doesn't matter because new game in one year
ALL YOUR BASE BELONG TO US!!

Another great video 👍 love what you guys do down there at gameranx!! Just random curiosity why are you called falcon?
well actually the kh2 error has more story behind it as an organisation is a Nobody right? and they get their names when they had an 'x' added into their original name then rearranged. so xigbar was called braig, xaldin was called dilan (not sure about leaxeus tho) anws kinda glad u showed some love to kingdom hearts, hope u can cover 2.8 for them newcomers to the series someday
Digz
its a mistake of a mistake
the video says they are bleig dilin and eleus and then proceeds to mock the names despite the fact the real ones are dilian braig and aeleus
The weird NPC face in Assassins Creed Ezio collection
The face was a good long time before Oh, Ubisoft started, I think... but it still might have been Jim. Sounds like something he'd say.
Mikhail Malik that face (apparently) was in the original game, but it has a random chance of appearing. I remember having that face show up when I played AC2.
Bugs were excluded, these are actual logical mistakes in the concept and not their implementation.
Raichu was supposed to have another evolution
joan palma no that’s not it. In the Japanese games he traded you for a Pokémon that did evolve through trade
It was a translation issue
