After a year of the fourth season being out I still find it suspicious how the library is the right next to the centre of the portals. Maybe it has some sort of deeper meaning
[Spoilers from Stephen King's It book ahead] This scene reminds me a lot of Stephen King's It ending from the book. In the 2019 movie, only the house on Neibolt Street is destroyed, but in the book a huge thunderstorm comes to Derry and completely destroys it: streets crumbles, the water tower falls and roll down the hill destroying everything in it's way, a manhole cover flies away and beheads an old man who said "it's just a drizzle" and went on a walk, then a few days later people are commenting on the news about the thunderstorm and the damage it caused, doing interviews and shit... I wouldn't be surprised if the Duffer Brothers actually got inspired by this part of the book to write this part of the episode since they're a big fan of Stephen King and reference him a lot. throughout the series.
Since the upside down has infiltrated the overworld, that means that all sorts of creatures are in Hawkins and spreading to other parts of the world. So for Season 5, I have a feeling to aid the group in killing Vectna and closing the portals, they’ll receive an Unlikely alley from the upside down.

@@skycaptain3344 yeah and then his potential for development or contribution to the story is entirely trashed with his death; but at least it shows the destructive power of the upside down..right? It’s my fav too cause Jason died in it
I don’t know why but it’s so satisfying hearing the chimes of the clock and the gates opening, this scene is so cool!
The CGI on those gates are so goddamn awesome.
It’s not cgi, they actually opened a portal to another dimension just for this scene, it’s shows how committed the duffer brothers are
@@daveagard1884 pretty chad move
This whole sequence gave me the chills, the music and the visuals... Really felt like the actual apocalypse just started in Hawkins.
Funny how it escalated from Mike not being able to play 20 mins longer to Hawkins being destroyed
the doors look like the cracks on the main grandfather clock
Everything of this scene was so epic the acting, background music, the fear every thing. Not a single thing can be criticized. The perfect scene
This is the coolest scene of season 4 imo. This is what they’ve been building to since season 1 and they finally did it. The only thing that kinda sucked was that they had 30 minutes of boring conclusion after this. If this had been the final scene of season 4 I’d be so excited for season 5 I don’t even know if I could wait.
This should have been the last scene of season 4 I swearrrrr
Uh, did yall not see the last shot of the episode? That stuff was fire. More instense than this.
@@l1ttl3ab77 true but this was more epic, that shot could've been the ending or sm of the 1st episode of season 5
@@twinklyalcapa9848 nah. That shot was be more worthy as a cliffhanger ending than this. It would also be more fitting to out it here instead of in the next season.
@@l1ttl3ab77 agreed, the foreboding feeling you get from the last shot of the season was perfect. This was the climax so it needed a bit of resolution
This scene gave me the chills
The fact is what made stranger things so much wonderful is 50% acting, story, visuals + 50% sound effects. Now whoever they are, they know what they are doing and they nailed it❤❤❤. I realized the sound effects where perfect for the scenes, no more , no less, but perfect match.
0:13, clock makes a perfect beat
out of all of the parts in stangerthings this was the most scary part for me
my dad when he burps 0:37
😂
man, this scene was the most horrifying in all four seasons, the chimes, the soundtrack, the way Jason dies, everything is scary in this scene
I lowkey kinda hoped the season would end right here on one hell of a cliffhanger
that would have been great
same :/
Well, that would leave us knowing that Max is dead
And we wouldn’t have gotten to see hopper and el reunite
@@Gojira-2008 What does “smd” mean?
I'm sorry, but I venture to say that this scene was the best of the entire series
in terms of nerve racking yes but my favorite has gotta be eddies metal concert
Fun Fact: In China, 4 sounds like "Death" or "Die" and it is considered a cursed number.
I think you mean Japan but maybe China has it too
@@goodnightosaka In fact, Japan got that from China. Japanese has its own word for four "yon" that they use more commonly, but they also imported the word for death "shi" and its cultural associations with the number four when they adopted the Chinese syllabary.
The aerial shots at 1.20 are absolutely amazing! I was literally on the edge of my seat the whole scene the first time I watched it, not sure how they'll be able to pull it off and top this.
At 0:55 you could hear demogorgon/demodogs roaring
its probably the dragon from d&d
Yall remember when Mr. Clark said that a portal would split our world in half... yeah
MIke: "What happened to Jason?"
Lucas: "He had to split".
Did anyone else think the sound at 1:32 sounded like the shockwave said "CRINGE?"
I mean it does pretty much describe One's view of humanity in a nutshell.
Now i cant unhear it 🤣🤣
Mind blowing scene of season 04, terrifying clock sound 💥 imagine how powerful vecna, he opened 4 gates with his superior power🔥Boom
"Welcome one and all, to Weirdmageddon!"
After a year of the fourth season being out I still find it suspicious how the library is the right next to the centre of the portals. Maybe it has some sort of deeper meaning
Yeah and that’s where they found will in season 1
this scene was super intense. the grandfather clock remix was literally spot on!
This part was so cool, the clock chiming was like kind of catchy
Bro the chimes are so addictive to watch again and again
I do enjoy a good villain winning moment, even if it comes at the cost of my beloved characters
This scene was crazy the way the clock is chiming and echoes throughout Hawkins when the gates collide. Scary as hell!!
The gateway opening theme is so sick
I like when Villain's plans are foreshadowed and the writers see it through. Vecna had a goal and he accomplished it. A tier villain 😌
Man this was such an awesome scene
[Spoilers from Stephen King's It book ahead]
This scene reminds me a lot of Stephen King's It ending from the book.
I think the invasion thereafter would be like “The Mist”, with all the monsters getting ready to ravage earth
When I first saw this I said "this is now my head canon for the destruction of Derry."
This scene was awesome I loved it
Never have I ever thought stranger things would become this
Prolly my fav scene of that episode. It was so intimidating, the clock beat kinda slapped
Jason: hangovers feel like getting split in two
Vecna: is that right, then let's make it official
For real tho
Since the upside down has infiltrated the overworld, that means that all sorts of creatures are in Hawkins and spreading to other parts of the world.
So for Season 5, I have a feeling to aid the group in killing Vectna and closing the portals, they’ll receive an Unlikely alley from the upside down.
You know the worst part about Eddie's death is...the whole town will believe Jason died a hero not a religious nut in denial
I could go on forever about how Jason didn't deserve that death, but I'm not gonna. You don't agree, just think about the entire season through Jason's eyes. Forget everything you know about seasons 1-4, remove all attachments you have to every character, and view the entirety of season 4 from the way Jason saw it
I said this exact thing to friends - can you imagine seeing these horrific murders, including your girlfriend and a good friend, and then walking in to find a girl in an unwakeable trance? He wasn’t off that it was something out of this world.
@@skycaptain3344 yeah and then his potential for development or contribution to the story is entirely trashed with his death; but at least it shows the destructive power of the upside down..right? Instead everybody is showing themselves to be more psychotic than him, cherishing the most brutal death in the series and not putting their bias for the main crew aside; like damn he was done dirty. He was also not that bad of a person, only seeking violence in revenge and retaliation for Chrissy, not just to out right kill somebody for the thrill of it like his twisted friend we see accompany him at the Creel house.
Vecna is one of the greatest villains..powerful, one truly evil purpose and highly determined
This has to be my favorite scene in stranger things season 4
hope we get the ost for this cuz it's hella lit
In this scene my whole body shivered mate
This scene give me chills
This is where I believe season 4 should’ve ended. Could you imagine how fricken stumped everyone would’ve been.
Jasons scream is so disturbing but fitting
The boys when your the first to fall asleep at the sleepover
Everybody gangsta until you pause the video when the clock is going off and still hear it
