ive been trying to learn spanish for a while w different methods and different videos but ure the first one that actually helps me learn and understand spanish! im not a native english speaker (i live in the netherlands but am fluent in english) so sometimes its a little difficult using english to learn spanish but ure very helpful! thank you so much! muchas gracias!

I learnt French from about 10 or so and was C1 by 17, now at 23 I'm jumping into Spanish but found myself irritated at my inability to learn when trying to memorize lists of conjugations and apply my knowledge from learning other romance languages. Sometimes it's good to take a step back and realise it's okay to be a beginner (though I must admit the cognates and understanding of gender agreement help from French), nonetheless I want to thank you for helping me take said step back and actually start to enjoy learning Spanish and find my passion not just for speaking other languages but also learning them and feeling that excitement all over again. Excellent stuff, liked and subscribed!

No, you can't. "muy" is an adverb and "mucho" is an adjective. You can't use an adjective ("mucho") with another adjective ("serio"). You need to use an adverb: muy serio.
Being from New Mexico, the "Spain" Spanish and standard Spanish are used heavily, also in new mex our dialect can be slightly different, like the words trujo and trajo. Trujo being the common word here.
Dr Danny leaves out some exceptions when saying that nouns that end in "o" are masculine, and those that end in "a" are feminine. This is usually the case but not always: radio, mano, foto are feminine nouns; diploma, problema, planeta, idioma and some others are masculine. Many nouns end in "e" and they could be feminine or masculine; you just have to get to know each case. And many nouns don't end in a vowel at all (no a, o, or e) but consonants: hotel, pared, lápiz. This is a good, useful video; we just need to include a few more facts.
He probably wanted to make it less complicated so that it would be easier to understand. He'll probably go over all this in a future lesson. He was on a different channel I was watching and he did cover some of this on that one. But thank you, good information that's good to know.

What about the difference between pollo and polla😂
