I was going to order one but bought a box of 10 Nataraj Super Black with Sharpener and Eraser for £2.99 Delivered and saved enough for a decent car.

It's most likely a gift from a company to their highly valuable artist, someone like Jim Lee could have one on display in his home or office, along with the pencil art he has created. He himself gave a $9k Rolex to his inker. If the pencil is in use, then the user is someone who doesn't have to care about the price, it's all the same to them.
That pencil better draw
It'll go nicely with my diamond encrusted Damian Hirst skull and my solid gold bicycle. However ... the basic product is one of those little classics of German industrial design, and is perhaps worth having on that basis alone. Sadly, thick pencil extenders and anything which puts weight on the end are two of my pet hates, so maybe not for me - but it's cool.

Well I gave this a great deal of thought and in the and decided against it, the reason was quite simply that I never go plein air drawing or painting, so therefore I would be creating an unnecessary need for myself if I purchased one lol
Having just joined your Patreon, I thought maybe that you were offering this great lump of extravagance as a joining perk, with a 95% discount to Patreon members I was starting to tremble with excitement , I reached for the IPad and went straight to Amazon and at the last moment I suddenly realised that it was probably too good to be true, so no more salivating at the thought of hedonistic pleasure stroking such a divine symbol whilst putting in my pen tray, then you loosed us down slower with this much cheaper offering, sorry Jon, not the same feeling is it, I’ll just stick to my Kaweco Brass Sport, just the right length to deliver the goods , posted or not, an interesting review, but sadly the man from Camelot hasn’t knocked my door just yet so I’ll continue to dream, but thanks anyway, Mike West Bromwich

I knew it was going to be gold/diamonds (which are what you're paying for). I prefer pencils that are rare and have demand attached to them, but no intrinsic value (such as the EF Blackwing 602 ...which is worth the same the wooden part of this 'perfect pencil'). A Thoreau pencil would impress me, or perhaps an unused pack of WWII-era Mono-Kings. :3

No way! Recently I bought a Hovel from Jackson's Art, I found it nearly useless! I'll never buy this so called new invention anymore 😫
I watched a review on the Hovel, looks expensive and not very effective.

I am an artisti and I allso think about the situation for so many familys iarround the world and I still think is inmoral even if it is gold, platiniun, titanium, etc.....The artist need just a normal good pencil with different sogtness!!

You can get a $15 electric pencil sharpener that would be way less work to sharpen. Why anyone would pay 💰💰💰💰💰for a pencil is beyond me.
Maybe because it's quite uncomfortable to have an electric sharpener stick to the pencil's end? ;) Thanks @ smoothie77 for the review, love it!
Waste of money.
Im sorry but the expensive pencil is worth $100 to $150 max and the cheaper one is worth $3 to $5 max. That pencil topper isnt all that special. Kum makes them so do several other companies. Im not knocking FC for anything other than the price. Im sure its quality.
