Very good tutorial. Thank you! I've made the plane from 6mm depron for fuselage and 4mm for the wing cover, in the wings 6mm spars + 3 mm balsa. I've also added flaperons and safe with 6ch ar636. With 1300mah battery and 2400kv motor it flies like a dream and lands on a dime with 30% flaps in. It weights around 650g.
All and all great tutorial, great technique, awesome design! If wouldn't you, I wouldn't start flying. Thank you.

That's a nice airplane you got there, but as an RC plane builder I can't help it sohere are some tips to improve you plane :
    - your servos are very far away from your control surfaces so you have quite a lot of bending in the rod and therefore you loose some control over your plane
    - your propeller is barely bigger than your motor mount which makes you loose a lot of power and efficiency through the air. I agree it looks good on the plane, so if you don't change for a smaller motor mount you should get a bigger propeller and maybe a lower kv motor. It will allow you to have way more thrust with the same power level, you could even carry some payload which seems like the design of the plane.
