Really enjoyed this Trev, great to see one of my favourite ever summit or nothing episodes cut down. Must admit I would never of guessed that the summit or nothing shout at the summit was put over the top in the editor. Also this video proves how much weather can change up in the mountains, one minute Nath is saying how peaceful and sunny it is next clip it’s all misty and the suns gone. Cheers Joe.

Yeah, that weather came in so quick we didn't have time to gather our stuff and take a baring. That was us disorientated in no time haha. Cheers for watching Joe!

Great video - just watched a second time. The Lakes is special but a long drive away from the south as you commented. You were lucky with the weather overall with great views from the top. I've been there with clag all dammed day and not been able to see a thing. You both have good banter, nice one. Cheers, W :)

3 years later and not much has changed apart from pack weight!
Really enjoyed this new edit, Trev but the mimed shout at the summit is unaccetable, go hard or go home!
(Bloody good audio edit though, would never have guessed).
It would really tickle me if we started seeing other outdoor channels showing videos of 2 nutters screaming on top of every summit.
I've always admired how you numpties have to travel 11 hours before even starting some of your walks, good lads.
    Stay safe everyone.

Guys, brilliant! Loved watching your hike up and down Scafell Pike, but would have been even more amusing if you'd broke out the Crocs 🤣 We're off up there in a few weeks so hope we don't get lost or have any boot issues either. Looking forward to seeing your other vids, so have subscribed. Cheers

Great video Trev, I've done this a few times, it's one one of those mountains you either love it or hate it, no let up, up hill all the way then a knee burner on the way Down, it you took the right path it takes up a steep scramble but you basicly end up on the rocky plataue.
Lovely place though, thanks for sharing ATB

Hi, Trevor. Very impressed with your effort, especially with your load. The rocks and scree (but not the greenery) are very similar to our Tongariro Crossing (19 odd kms) which I did in February of this year, albeit with only a light day pack(5kg).
I am during our winter gearing up for our next hiking season!
    Go well, Trevor! 😎

I must have a really childish sense of humour - every time I hear (or read) Brown Tongue and bushy crevasse it makes m chuckle. Ooh behave! You two would be my ideal hiking buddies 😆 Didn't make it up Scafell Pike last year (really bad cold and failed Ben Nevis day before) - but did a low level walk around Wasdale instead. One of the best days ever - and I've been all over the world. Hope to do Scafell Pike one day.

Great minds think alike haha!. It certainly is beautiful up and around the Lakes, so even a low level walk can be just as rewarding. Hope you manage to get up there at some point. Many thanks for watching.

  • @AlanMETALMAN

I remember watching and enjoying this the first time and I set off the same point as you when I did it but with a nice light day pack and we took the right hand path and cut up through the steep and rough gully of Mickledore, which allowed a great scramble on loose scree, then up the Mickledore chimney. To be honest, I do not know how you managed it with those big packs on, so well done to you both for that. Haha I remember thinking at the time, how brave you were doing the Summit or Nothing with all those people around, now we know lol. Yep, that is what it's all about but what a shame about the fog coming in and so easy to get disoriented, I think you had every right to get grumpy, cheers Alan

      @SummitOrNothing  4 роки тому

Yes, I am re-editing a lot of our older adventures at the moment as I have found better settings on my editing software which now uploads in the best possible quality, plus some of the older videos always felt a bit long to me. Besides uploading a rehash a week, I am also busy uploading one brand new adventure and a how to or a kit review a week too.
