Yep overpriced but hey I figured I’ll probably never spend that much again on a knife. Usually keep it at $200 or less but I just couldn’t resist on this one…
@OGlongboarder in canada its over 500 after tax and shipping. And believe it or not this was the cheapest I could find it in Canada. Others were 10-20 dollars more.
@@mikeboyce21 yea here it’s listed at $337 before tax, I got a deal at 275 but with inflation here in California I feel like I spent 500. I almost need a second job just to pay for my gas to get to my first job. Glad to hear they still let you buy knives in Canada!
@OGlongboarder yeah its getting pretty bad here. I'm embarrassed to be a Canadian nowadays. Its unfortunate but when they start taking rights away and Banning things or making things illegal, it generally doesnt go back the opposite way.
The Adamas folders are the best-looking pocket knives. But do to all the bad things that can and do go wrong with the omega springs, there's no way I'm carrying that knive on me for the specific purpose of protection. I just do not trust anything about the axis lock or omega springs.
Interesting I’ve never heard of issues with it. But then again I’m not looking either. It is just a beauty though, more of shelf queen or weekend camping carry for me. Still my favorite, but of course carrying fixed blades for serious stuff. I wouldn’t consider any folder ideal for self defense.
@@OGlongboarder I live in a city where guns are illegal and so are fixed blades. I do trust the cold steel triad lock in self-defense situations. I know cold steel knives look pretty plain-Jane, but the tried lock makes them almost as tough as fixed blades. Nevertheless, benchmades do make beautiful blades. I'm sure I'll be adding one of their folders to my collection sooner or later. Congrats on your purchase.
Knife got my attention then the rc really got my attention lol. U a badass dude
Damn. I have the full-size green with tan blade. It's a freakin tank. I liked it so much I bought the fixed blade as well for camping.
Benchmades best knife for 2023 🔥. I noticed your into RC it looks like a crawler your wrenching on.
Yea I’ve got too many hobbies. Axial wraith 1/10. Did wheels tires shocks drive shafts links love building them.
Can’t wait for mine, currently my favorite knife of all time is the mini crooked river. Can’t wait to see if this tops it

Just put in my order yesterday and my lord this thing is expensive. I know knives in Canada cost more in general but this is ridiculous.

I get all my benchmades from a gun shop close to me. There a lot cheaper on knives 250 or more.
