Hey Loves! I had so much fun doing this video. Let me know which heat protectant is your favorite down below! Should I start a VS. series here on the channel testing out different products? Let me know down below!

Tresseme has been my go-to for years! I used when I was relaxed and now when I’m natural for blow-outs and it’s always been consistent with its coverage.

The tresemme looks more silky and feathery in my opinion

The silk elements is too oily for my hair. Smells nice though! I’m looking for something weightless and not oily.

Hey Bri! Thanks soo much for doing this review! Yea you can't really see any difference as far as performance goes. Your hair turned out great on both sides! I like to use liquid heat protectant because I have very fine hair, but I love the idea of using the Silk Elements on top once dry to keep from reverting...great idea! Thanks for Sharing!

Beyond the zone sold at Sally's, under $7 and smells great! I also love the affirm heat protectant on relaxer days, and the olaplex bonding oil is really good for both a heat protectant and oil when I do my olaplex treatments

Good reviews on those heat protectant! I been using heat protectant serum and it's been weighing my hair down. Going to try the Chi heat protectant. 😀🔥😀

A water based heat protectant is definitely one that won’t weight the hair down!

Go ahead and get the Revlon Volumizer Plus or one of those brushes from that line and you will save so much time doing your hair, and it's way better for touching up your blowout after a hot humid shower.

Besides heat protectant, do you use any other type of leave-in product after washing?

I know is late but maybe it can still help you or someone else. After shampooing your relaxer out you should deep condition your hair with a product that has protein. I recommend Mielle Babassu & Mint Deep Conditioner with Protein. After rinsing that out apply a hair butter to your hair and then a leave in, unless you have fine hair. If you have fine apply the leave in first then a small amount of hair butter! Then apply your heat protectant. Once you blow and flat iron your hair apply an oil to seal the moisture in. The oil is the only thing you should put on your scalp besides shampoo and conditioner. Massage the oil in. Always apply the oil after you apply heat!!! Never Before!!
