Why does wirt sound more nervous when he DOESNT have an audience lmfao
id guess its because its a new tournament format, plus if he dies early its not a video. if he dies during a stream theres still more content to do.
It's a lot more awkward when you're used to streaming to an audience for these things and then being suddenly

In a video he has to provide all the content alone, and the standard is higher
Meanwhile a stream is more loose and reacting to chat is a simple way to get most of your content

This specific tournament type is very cool, it's almost like random map challenge but in a competitive form. Very intense to see who can adapt the best so consistently
its also like a shorter qual round for cup of the day per map

28:51 I was sent a video by a friend of a vtuber doing a no-hit Dark Souls(?) run, and getting tabbed out like 4-5 times by Battle net trying to update itself
It's insane the amount of software that will just randomly tab you out and/or try to update itself when it's not even open
(I've had it happen a couple times to me as well, though thankfully not when I was doing anything important - usually just when typing, which is still very annoying lol)

I've been thinking about something like this for years lol - though for me, I was imagining it to be more like CotD, where after an initial discovery period, slowest X PBs are out, map never changes, everyone gets one run to improve before the next set of PBs goes out. Basically CotD except you're not punished for one bad run if you've been doing well so far. Everyone risks a lot more because failing once or twice won't mean they go out, or if it would make them go out, a safe run wouldn't keep them in either.
Sounds like a great idea, but it feels like people who are ahead can feel relatively safe and just risk it all. While those near the back have to risk, but not to much because they need to improve and can't afford to risk to much and fail. Feels like an early lead is easier to maintain, than to catch up after a bad start.
@@Drezaem55 It's the difference between a normal CotD where it rewards consistency vs this rewarding the ability to pull off risky lines. Yeah, you can risk more if you're in the lead, but you get there by taking a bigger risk early on.
